During a formal hearing, a long-serving & decorated military officer is expected to be addressed by his formal title. Anything less is improper & insulting.

This can only trend and look like a burn to people who have no clue what they are talking about.

For those interested, the elected civilian government outranks anyone in the military. Vindman's petulance would be like him correcting a General for not referencing his rank. :roll:

Moreover, his testimony that he lectured the Ambassador about national policy is equally inept and utterly broken. An Ambassador resides at the same level in the chain of command as a 4 Star General with the Sec. of State in the role of a 5 Star. Mr. Vindman doesn't lecture ANYONE on national security or national policy. He does what he is ordered to do.

It would be simply amazing that this Mr. Vindman has climbed as high as he has with such utter disregard for the chain of command but for the fact that I watch a lot of politically liberal nitwits move up the military chain under Obama.

He's a disgrace, seriously a ****ing disgrace.

Actually it is. First having been in the military and coming from a military family seeing a twit like Nunes trying to put down Lt. Col.Vindman by calling him MR. is enough of enough. The idea that Nunes and all of the people who support a man like Trump putting down a real American soldier is abhorrent to me and should be to all Americans. Nunes did not make a mistake by calling him MR. he meant it as a put down. Maybe Nunes should put on our country's uniform and go get himself a Purple Heart medal before making an ass of himself.

I would think that anyone who supports Trump over an American soldier is the disgrace. And especially one who did his duty in reporting wrong doing as his uniform and his oath to the constitution require. I wonder if you have ever served in that you and Nunes do not know protocol when it comes to addressing a military man in such a situation. Of course you hate Lt. Col Vindman, he tells the truth where Trump has told what, 13,000 lies since he has been in office. And the lies he wrote to Mueller in his written answers may just be enough to get him impeached.

Vindman is NOT a "military man of the highest integrity".

He considered himself to be the originator of US foreign policy. He considers his opinion to be more important than the President's opinion.

His boss in the White House suspected him of being a leaker.

A previous military superior had to verbally reprimand him for presenting the US in a bad light to Russian soldiers.

His peers during his Ranger training considered him lazy and a "chow hound". They wanted him out of the training.

Vindman has never been a "military man of the highest integrity".

I've been listening on and off all day, a lot via radio. I was thinking that if I were a republican and a Trump supporter, I would be embarrassed at the childish displays of both Nunes and Jordon and wouldn't want them representing my side at all.

Nunes seemed to offer nothing but acting as a parrot and constantly repeating false talking points/insults and using terms like circus, overthrow, coup, etc., etc. They are supposed to be trying to make the case for a president who doesn't have the capability of engaging his brain before opening his fat mouth, and they seem to follow suit. They really have no clue as to how to conduct themselves in a mature setting, and they appear to have as little regard for civility, the constitution or the rule of law as the Manchild in Chief. It seems they're surrounded by adults in the room, and their behavior should put them in a 'time out'. It's as if, even though what they say and how they look is being recorded, they have no control over themselves, or are too ignorant to care.
