There are essentially 4 categories of behavior that we are supposed to look for in coworkers and report if they meet 3 of those categories. I know almost nothing about Mr. Vindman and already he checks two of the boxes.

And, of course, there is really no need to find if he checks the third or fourth since we already know he leaked information outside of the need to know and bypassed his superior to do it.... so he's already demonstrated that he is an insider threat.

Subordinate officers do not lecture their superiors on decorum, I guarantee you. What Vindman did would be like him lecturing a 3 Star on the snap of his salute. He is engaging in a far more serious breech in the process.

As I said before, there are 4 criteria we are taught to watch for in coworkers that would make them an insider threat and Vindman checked at least two that I know of.. which is probably part of the reason why he was on reduced duties to begin with.
