We have the call transcript, there’s no discussion of linking aid to any investigation.
The two principals on the call, President Trump and President Zelenskyy, have both stated there was no linkage of any aid to Ukraine dependent on any investigation.
The Ukraine government had no idea that aid was being held-back pending confirmation of the stable intent -no corruption- within the new Ukraine administration.
President Zelenskyy didn’t announce, didn’t start, and didn’t acknowledge he was going to start any investigation to get the aid released; and it was released without contingencies.

If the witch hunters cannot factually dispute those four points, they have no justification to impeach Trump...regardless the spun soundbites of the various witnesses.

So there's a blog on the American thinker, pointing to a liar appearing on Fox news, talking about a transcript that may or may not exist, and if it does it has probably been doctored so much it should be sued for malpractice?

That's a swing and miss by about a mile, not a knockout punch.

Every witness before Schiff's committee has turned out to be a fact witness supporting the President's claim and proving the Democratic Party and Schiff are lying and wrong.

In Trumpland maybe that's how it works with his cult. But in the real world that's not how it works. Gym being a proven ass kissing liar, on Trump state media Fox news? He needs to prove his allegations first.. Then we'll go from there.
 
In the first place, neither "The Thinker", Jim Jordan unilaterally, or any of us get to decide under what circumstances Trump can or will be Impeached. So that basically cuts the knees out from this thread entirely.

But if you insist:

It was released because the jig was up and Trump lost his nerve under the pressure of the Congress starting to ask questions and the WB complaint. Unknown to Dondon the Ignorant, he was two days away from getting his announcement from Zalinsky which is all he really wanted anyway. Fat Donald could give a rats behind about an actual investigation.

We have the evidence and there is no one saying they saw OJ shoot Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman.
OJ Simpson has stated he did not kill Nicole or Ron and neither Nicole or Ron have contested his statement
Nicole and Ron had no idea that they were going to be stabbed/slashed before they died
The bloody glove did not fit OJ's hand.


I mean, you make a great point Klattu, how could anyone ever see guilt when one makes very simple statements which ignore all inculpatory evidence?

No one has to, those 4 points intentionally ignores what we know.

Republicans reducing the entire thing to those 4 points while ignoring all of our relations, all those communications, and everyone involved with the US and the Ukraine before and after that infamous conversation between President Trump and President Zelenskyy does not make it so.

As Trump and/or Republican supporters you all have that liberty to believe those 4 points are all that matters.

The rest of us do not have to go along with that game Jim Jordan is trying to run with, and I have every liberty to point out the epic foolishness of trying to reduce the entire thing to those 4 points as if that is all that happened.

We all know better, which is why people are coming forward about this with their position on what all happened... no matter how much Trump and Republicans go after them for disloyalty, political opportunism, love affair with Twitter, or whatever other reason.

They were answered, but what matters is this is why those people are before Congress.

Not that I think it will change the first Republican mind, because Jim Jordan has already dumbed down the story for them as marching orders.

None of the people who have testified ever spoke to Trump. You are going to need to pin it directly on him to have impeachment go anywhere.

The case has not been proven by any stretch of the imagination. If it had, they would be voting out articles of impeachment. And after the fraud that was the collusion hoax, you guys are gonna need a whole lot more than youve got.

If you cannot factually dispute those four points, there is nothing to justify impeachment.

Whatever else you want to spin about is nothing more than that...spin.

They are not trying to prove a case. They are conducting an investigation to determine if charges (of impeachment) should be brought. Please try and understand what you are talking about if you're going to post about it.
