I don't know how many times I have to tell you people, the actions of fallible humans have no effect on the perfect teachings of the Catholic Church. Nothing man can do will ever shake my faith in the church Jesus started, nor will it deter the faith of any devout Catholic. The folks who say they left the church because of something some priest once said, was never a sincere Catholic. They use it as an excuse to live a lesser more permissive life.

Two things:
1) 81% percent of priest victims from the original 2002 lawsuits were boys? Coincidence?
2) The instances of sex abuse in the Church has been reduced to virtually zero since gays were banned from entering US seminaries in 2005. Coincidence?

1) The majority of altar servers are girls and have been since the 1980s.

2) I've proved it in other threads. So now I'll ask you to provide me ONE instance of a priest abuse case that was allegedly committed within the past ten years. When you can't find one, will you have the decency to come back and apologize? Oh, that's right. We've found out with the 'separation of church and state' not being in the Constitution' debate, you'll never have that decency.

I should have said US cases where the ban against gays has been in effect since 2005. Not sure leftwing Europe has taken that step. But the guy in your case didn't actually commit any abuse, did he?

Yes, the predictable excuse! You were wrong as usual, but I won't expect an apology. Would you like me to present some more recent cases or will you make excuses for them also? By the way, Britain has had a conservative government for the past nine years, so that pathetic "left wing" excuse fails as well.
The priest in question wanted to abuse a two year-old child and you're defending him? You disgust me.
