Startbucks' Open Bathroom Policy Killing Sales. Love It When PC Suck-ups Fail.

Ah, conservatism. Always making people look for the tiniest thing to be outraged about while minimizing major problems in our world.

Looked in a mirror lately.

Liberal girly men abound.

Shrugging their hips and talking tough with the coffee barista while browsing pajama catalogs.

Hey Phys251, here is a great example!

Well, we'll see how these open sewers and smelly people crowding the tables work out for paying customers in the long run.

Net revenues for the Americas segment grew 9% over Q4 FY18 to $4.7 billion in Q4 FY19, primarily driven by 6% growth in comparable store sales, 607 net new store openings, or 3% store growth, over the past 12 months, and the impact of the adoption of new revenue recognition accounting for stored value card (SVC) breakage.

Operating income grew 5% to $938.9 million in Q4 FY19, up from $890.8 million in Q4 FY18. Operating margin of 20.2% declined 70 basis points, primarily due to the 2019 Starbucks Leadership Experience, growth in wages and benefits and increased investments in labor hours, partially offset by cost savings initiatives and sales leverage.

They have over 18,000 stores just in the Americas. Growth of 3%. They seem to be doing pretty well. LOL! The above is through 9/30/19.

I don't drink pop, with the exception of a few bottles of hot ginger ale.

I'm on a perpetual quest to find Earl Grey tea with more bergamont in it. I love Lady Grey tea. I have about 6 kinds of loose leaf tea but I'm always willing to try somthing new or funky, even if it is just an ounce or two.

I used to be hooked on Dr. Pepper, but it had to be fountain DP. But now I've been clean since 2015. Haven't had a single one.

Are your eyes brown? Because you are full of ****e. People and organizations from all walks of life rushed to NO to help. Fire and police departments from just about every city. Non for profit food pantries and assistance programs. Animal shelters and and construction companies in evil liberal cities rushed to help. Reading your idiotic partisan nonsense hurts my eyes. You’re clearly a misguided and angry individual seeing enemies where they don’t exist.

Didn't see a single solitary atheist bus, however.

You need to rethink that claim.

If atheists are so evil then why is less than 1% of the prison population non-believers?

14.5% of inmates are Roamin' Catholic.

The better stat would be irreligious vs practicing religious. Not what somebody checks on a form. Then you'd lose 999 to 1.

I like Blenheim or Reeds. I drink maybe 4 bottles per year.

I dare you to prove that claim.

Starbucks’ open bathroom policy may be hurting foot traffic: Study

Since opening its bathroom doors to the public in the wake of a controversial incident in Philadelphia, the coffee giant has seen a 6.8% drop in store attendance per month relative to other coffee shops nearby, according to the findings of a joint study from the University of Texas at Dallas and Boston College.

“When you throw open the policy to let people come in and just use the bathrooms and the tables, maybe people come in and find the bathrooms are dirty, and the tables are crowded,” David Solomon, Assistant Professor at Boston College Carroll School of Management, told YFi PM. “And so they don't buy the coffee as well.”

Well, knock me over with a feather!

You wonder if Starbucks is run by a bunch of morons. Who in their right minds think that by allowing drug-users and bums to roam willy-nilly in your business, paying customers looking for a quiet table and a clean bathroom would stand for that?

This was a sop the far left. Recall the outrage when two blacks were arrested at a Starbucks last spring. They were loitering and not buying anything, and the manager called the police. The video of the arrests went viral, and the idiot CEO, Kevin Johnson immediately changed to policy to allow anyone to use the bathrooms and occupy tables without buying anything.

Here is the motto businesses should follow: Do NOT EVER cave to the PC leftist nuts. They don't care if your business fails. Do the commonsense things that keep customers coming in.

I am surprise nobody has made a star****s pun yet!

Narcissism should be treated asap.

we are trying to get trump out of office, but your side keeps saying he did nothing wrong! That way he can be in a position to be treated.

I dare you to prove that claim.

It's pretty much common sense. Very few who attend regular church services are getting imprisoned.

That’s because those people don’t need to advertise.

I remember another thing. The ultra-left Democratic Underground was advertising charities that were helping out with Katrina that their readers could support. The Catholic Church and other Christian church people provided the majority of volunteers, but the DU didn't link a single one of them. Four of the six they linked for donations were ANIMAL rescue. Can you believe that? Humans were dying, and these loons were focused on ANIMALS. Talk about screwed up values.
