Yes, also very very unusual. POTUS ALWAYS goes to Walter Reed via helo.
I think a hasty trip to Walter Reed via helo would have tipped off "the wrong people".

I don't wish anyone ill health. I'd rather see the idiot king forced from office by the voters or impeachment. If he's sick, I hope that he recovers.

A couple of things: First, I don't wish the president to suffer any serious health problems; second, I don't believe anything the WH ever says.

Also, it would hardly be the first time presidential administrations deliberately withheld or lied about the President's health. In fact, it's almost standard procedure, from Andrew Jackson through Cleaver, Taft, Wilson, Harding, FDR, Ike, JFK, Reagan, and probably more. Therefore, I wouldn't take umbrage about Trump's WH lying about the President's health issues. It's everything else that Trump's WH lies about to which I do take umbrage.

Wasn't it last year Trump went for the yearly check-up and the report on Trump's health was released that said he was in the best shape in the history of POTUS, or whatever.

Then months later it came out that Trump himself wrote the report/letter...

Can't believe anything he, or his WH says or does. Even when it comes to something as serious as health, the guy and his swamp around him would lie, or do and say anything.

Well this just can't be right. I MUST have missed him calling out maxparrish for the immoral act of wishing for RBG's death. Surely! Or maybe he at least said it was bad in general if he couldn't bring himself to call out his fellow right winger. Let's see what he said in general about it.

That MAY be true, but

Walter Reed issued no notice to the staff that there was a VIP scheduled in the building, which left them unaware that certain areas were off limits. There was no scheduled exam, and no note on either of Trump's schedules concerning this visit.

Everything about the visit suggests it was a sudden and unplanned event. Even the motorcade....
