Antisemitism has a lot to do with all the right-wing conspiracy theories regarding George Soros. When right wing pundits use the word “globalist”, it's nothing more than an anti-Semitic dog whistle. Quite often you'll see the name 'Soros' and 'Globalist' in the same sentence, as endlessly parroted by Alex Jones, and taken up by Trump and his group. It's the same as Trump calling Barack Obama, 'Barack Hussein Obama', there's an intentional linkage there to Muslims.
If it was the Koch Brothers, who by the way are much worse, well, that's okay. For the same reason that JP Morgan Bank is considered evil and at the center of many conspiracy theories, while Bank of America or the investment banking company Credit Suisse -- even if they do exactly the same stuff -- are not considered evil or suspect. It's antisemitism.
While the Koch Brothers have conspired to subvert democracy in the United States, Soros has conspired to support democracy throughout the world with a particular focus on Eastern Europe. Why is the right-wing obsessed with him? Because he is an internationalist, because he is an eastern European Jew, because he supports democracy (which is directly at odds with the right-wing agenda of disenfranchisement), and because he uses his money to support these principles. You could say that he is a traitor to his class - most hedge fund tycoons work to protect their money while he has spent it to support egalitarianism. The right-wing wants to maintain its privilege - as rich people, as white people, as men, as leaders, as owners - while Soros supports and finances institutions, politicians, and movements that attack that privilege as unjust, unfair, and unwarranted.
If people like marke spent this much time researching some of the facts contained in witness testimonies that the public has heard in public hearings, and less time trying to contrive or advance some some of new George Soros conspiracy theory, perhaps he would be less paranoid and more informed about factual truths.
