    Bill Of Restrictions

In the USA we've got the Bill Of Rights or BOR in the Constitution but it would perhaps be more accurate to call it the Bill Of Restrictions, restrictions on the government. The BOR does not grant rights, rather it says the government cannot infringe, intervene, interfere with, or otherwise take away the rights that are mentioned in the BOR. To do so the government would be overstepping its authority. So anybody who wants the government to take away the rights mentioned in the BOR know this, the government does not have the authority to do that.

You can change the label in your own head if you want, just don't get upset when people don’t understand you. Language only functions correctly when the sender and receiver of the message have a common interpretation.
“personal attorney” to Individual-1, who at that point had become the President of the United States

I have no problem calling it the Bill Of Rights, the important thing is that people know its purpose, which is to put limits on the government's authority. After all the true government in the USA is you and me, the common citizen.

well it's supposed to , but they have twisted it in courts to where it almost cannot function properly anymore... I.e. they can do anything they want.
