The Nightmare Scenario: Trump Loses in 2020 and Refuses to Concede

With his ego, do you think it possible that we could see a Nightmare Scenario?
You can avoid it by voting for Trump. Tell all your lefty friends to do the same

It may be more public than what the others experienced, but Obama had a lot of very negative things directed at him and his family as well.

I don't deny that. But I'm an intense observer of politics and political discussion here in America and I can say with confidence that the treatment of President Trump far and away dwarfs that directed at President Obama.

Attacks on Obama were almost exclusively right wingers. With Trump the attacks have been from the left wing, virtually all the media, popular culture figures, academia, members of the American government bureaucracy, et cetera.

Trump has no intention of 'going gently into that dark night' -- no way, no how. Trump is going to make the biggest mess he can possibly make. So hold on, this is going to get really ugly.

Just a wacky I don't like post that belongs in the CT section. More emotional nonsense!!

I've never seen such hatred for a U.S. president by his fellow American citizens. It dwarfs anything directed at Obama or Bush and has no basis whatsoever.

Need a memory refresh?

Bevin did finally concede, BUT, unfortunately it's a real possibility tRump may not; even if it's obvious that he lost either by an overwhelming defeat or, if it goes that far, a recount that goes against him. He may go as far as inciting his followers to riot and, even, commanding our armed forces to defend his right to the Presidency; who knows what crazy **** he might pull? BUT, eventually January 2021 will roll around and John Roberts will swear in the new President elect, who will then legitimately be President of the United States … whom will be the Commander in Chief, who will be protected by the Secret Service and who will, ultimately, be in charge of OUR Government. At some point tRump will have to leave the White House or be shown the door by U.S Marshals and/or the Secret Service. Hopefully no AmeriCANs will be injured in whatever is precipitated by tRumps final tantrum.

OR! tRump could man up, for once in his pitiful life, and just concede. Either way there will be, hopefully a smooth, transition of power.

(No, actually, I don't see tRump winning in 2020)

Trump is not going to incite his followers. Even if he tries, which is unlikely. He will not lay in the middle of the Oval Office kicking his heels and holding onto the desk. He will not command the troops to defend him. They wouldn't if he tried.

Chances are if he loses, he will pack up, go back to Mir a Lago, play a round of golf, then get on with his next business deal. Most likely in 2024.

Have you considered even for a minute that there's real, factual basis for those 'attacks' ?

This again? How many threads are y'all going start concerning this silly nonsense?

We also said in 2015 that if Trump was elected that he'll be impeached before he finishes his first term. We may be more right than wrong and if he's not impeached, he'll lose by a landslide in 2020.

How many hours are in a day, days in a week, weeks in a year?
There's your answer.

I'm far more concerned with the level of violence that will occur IF Trump wins. We may see lots of the organized street violence we've seen in places like Portland.

Funny, I was just having this conversation with people IRL today. These people are moderate Democrats who are fearing how radical and crooked the leftwing of the party has become. They said they will be voting for Trump next election. Should Trump win, maybe these haters will forced back under their rocks.

Nightmare scenario = What if Trump is a Nazi Martian who starts disintegrating people with eye lasers!

If he could do that Schiff, Schumer, and Pelosi would be little piles of dust on the Capitol steps

IF you been watching twitter you'll notice that 9 out of 10 replies to his posts are negative. So, let's see; he's already tried meat, wine, games, universities, casino's, extorting favors from foreign nations and more, much more, but I'm sure he's already thinking up his next scam. He probably will go back to Mira Largess; probably in 2021 … if he lasts that long.

If Trump doesn't win, the officials in charge of White House security will gladly escort him and his property off the grounds January 21, 2021 by 1 pm at the latest.

Correct. Our institutions remain strong. Trump’s staff wont even stand by him. Trump admires strongman dictators, dislikes the messiness of democracy, and is a fascist stylistically, but is basically a weakling.

What’s not to hate? The man has insulted blacks, Latinos, women, refugees, and compared immigrants to poisonous snakes on several occasions. He has scorn for democratic institutions, praise for the tactics of dictators, and lies each time he exhales. He suggested he would torture worse than waterboarding and that US soldiers should commit war crimes. His entry into national politics was with the absurdity of birtherism.

I hated some of the things Reagan did, think W did great harm in the Middle East, but neither embarrassed us before the world. I don’t remember the UN laughing at either. So yes, Trump is hate-worthy.

You certainly have the right to your emotions, but keep in mind that hate is a toxic emotion that can lead to serious health problems like heart disease.

I know. Which is why I worry about Trump after reading the text of his Central Park Five ads. The man could keel over any minute.

You are correct. Don't let anyone gaslight you.

I can't even imagine. Whatever you do, don't put a Trump sign on your yard or worse, wear a MAGA hat.

Maybe he's waiting until Steny joins them so they can all be lasered at once!

Nightmare scenario!!!!!!!!

This is what we call "not able to address the post".

Your deflection is garbage and bad and you should address the OP without resorting to bitching about feelings.

Your constant misplaced anger is not my problem.
