Roger Stone has been found guilty on four out of seven counts. He's been found guilty of obstruction of justice and making false statements among other things. Guilty of having communication between senior members of the Trump campaign and contacts of Wikileaks and other sources.

Of course those sources all came from Russia.

Roger Stone will be going to prison. :lamo Now let's see how long it'll take for Trump to pardon him. 10.....9.....8.....7...

It will be interesting to see which flunkies Trump ends up pardoning.

Right now, Gordon Sondland probably has watery cramps in his stomach right now. His testimony next week is going to be a real eye-opener. He's a billionaire, he doesn't want to do 40 years in prison, so he knows he better come clean and tell the truth.

Roger Stone lied to protect Trump. Gordon Sondland lied to protect Trump, then backtracked on that with a sudden memory refresh. I don't think he'll lie again.

Roger is now officially a convicted felon.

I wonder what Trumps buddy looks like in prison orange?

I'm thrilled by the jury verdict. It'll be a killjoy if he gets no or too light a sentence. I'm not celebrating just yet. Yes, I smell ripe, odious, pardon.

I want to see Roger Stone coming out of the courthouse with his arms raised Nixon-style, flashing the 'victory sign'.

It took more than 40 years to 'get Roger Stone'.

BUSTED!

As I said in another thread, let's just remember what Stone was found guilty of doing:

Charging Indictment said:
STONE testified falsely that he had never discussed his conversations with the person he referred to as his “go-between,” “mutual friend,” and “intermediary” with anyone involved in the Trump Campaign.

This related to the following information:

STONE’s False and Misleading Testimony About Communications with the Trump Campaign

During his HPSCI testimony, STONE was asked, “did you discuss your conversations with the intermediary with anyone involved in the Trump campaign?” STONE falsely and misleadingly answered, “I did not.” In truth and in fact, and as described above, STONE spoke to multiple individuals involved in the Trump Campaign about what he claimed to have learned from his intermediary to Organization 1, including the following:

a. On multiple occasions, STONE told senior Trump Campaign officials about materials possessed by Organization 1 and the timing of future releases.

b. On or about October 3, 2016, STONE wrote to a supporter involved with the Trump Campaign, “Spoke to my friend in London last night. The payload is still coming.”

c. On or about October 4, 2016, STONE told a high-ranking Trump Campaign official that the head of Organization 1 had a “erious security concern” but would release “a load every week going forward.”

In other words, he lied about collusion between the Trump campaign and Wikileaks, who was disseminating materials stolen by Russia. Collusion. Again. Confirmed.

He was found guilty on all 7 counts. No worries, I was watching the same interview you were where they said 4 of 7. :)

Judge Amy Berman Jacksonshould have locked him up. He's a convicted felon. 'White (collar) privilege'.

But, it may turn out to be worst for Trump having his loose cannon free to speak to the press and do some TV interviews.

Funny how quickly certain folk went from "he's innocent and it's a deep state hoax" to "but he's not in the Trump administration right now so none of this matters." I guess even well-practiced liars can't type out that the jury was made up of Obama deep state plants with a straight face....

:applaud

I think this deserves its own thread - you should consider starting one with this gem.

Maybe this will help Sondland think long and hard about lying to Congress.

How many people close to Trump have to go to prison before his supporters admit he's corrupt?

I think that it's going to take a lot of men being convicted before any significant number abandons Trump. We've already seen Manafort, Flynn, Gates, Papadopoulos and Cohen go to prison and nobody flinched at that. Now Stone will go to prison and nobody on the right will see that Stone is connected in any way with Trump and Russia collusion. But, if Rudy Giuliani gets indicted, that's going to really change the game.

Sondland's testimony is next Tuesday and that's potentially going to be very damaging as well and especially now when an aide of William Taylor's is testifying in a private setting to the fact that he overheard Trump and Sondland speaking in a restaurant in Ukraine on an unsecured phone call about getting Biden was what Trump wanted, he didn't care about Ukraine.

At this point I don’t care if trumpies stay all in or not, trump is history and he will be locked up with stone, along with his traitor family. Nothing the traitors can do about it. Then after we get things back and straighten this mess out we remember just who supported this treason against our country. Plenty of video’s of his Nazi rallies.

Sondland already lied to protect Trump. I think now that people overheard is phone calls, it's going to be really difficult for him to lie. But I don't trust him to tell the truth. He'll do whatever he can do to help Trump with his testimony.

I'm hearing as we speak about what Bill Taylor's aid overheard and it's a bombshell. If Sondeland tells the truth, Trump is screwed.

But will his nazi-senators impeach him? That's the million dollar question.

The conversation was overheard by a few people at the table. Sondland held the phone away from his ear and Trump's voice could be heard. I wonder how many Chinese, Russians or Iranians also overheard that entire call? Sondland should have taken that call only in a secure facility inside the embassy, not in a public restaurant.

He has already been impeached, will he be convicted? No one is betting on that. Just like folks who become dependent on a drug they don’t think they can survive without him. Thing is they may soon realize they can’t survive with him. Then it comes down to conscience. Do they keep going down with the ship and hope trump provides them the money they need to survive the way they are accustomed or do they fold it in and hope for forgiveness. No one is going to forgive these traitors and trump is going to be locked up. They are finished and we will all be better for it.

So did Manafort and he is still waiting. I am banking on an eventual new 3 amigos lined up in adjacent cells, Trump, Manafort, Stone. What a pretty picture.

He was probably showing off and wanted everyone to hear. I'm sure the Russians were listening and tapping the wireless signal.

It's getting worse for Trump. It's like I said, he should have just admitted what he did and gone straight to the "it's bad but not impeachable" defense. Arguing that he was really promoting anti-corruption is falling apart and it makes it look worse since he denied it.

If Sondland tells the truth, Trump is totally screwed. All his defenders in the House are going to look bad. But I don't believe Sondland will tell the whole truth until I hear it. I suspect he won't testify like the others.

Sondland is now going to be faced having to answer questions about the phone call in the restaurant. Will he call the others who overheard the call 'liars' or will he confess that it happened and what the substance of the call really was? Either way, Gordon Sondland better have some security protecting him.

If he confirms that Trump didn't care about Ukraine corruption, will Republicans vote to remove him?

I'm sure they would. He actually referred to Ukraine as '****' compared to the importance of getting the Biden's.

No, he was found guilty on all seven counts. This was the last Mueller trial, leaving Mueller with a perfect record of victory on ever person who either went to trial or pled.
