Are you actually saying you think an investigation into the Biden's would be a "fishing expedition"?


The Senate and the DOJ were unable to open an investigation into the Bidens during these years because a "a special counsel, er, fishing expedition investigation" is limited by news cycles?
I'm not sure I am following.
It certainly seems like the DOJ has handled all sorts of business these past years.
DOJ and the Senate can each investigate w/o a special counsel.

I don't find your argument that news cycles have prevented the DOJ and the Senate from doing their jobs to be very compelling.

Not at all. I can actually see extortion and criminality and adultery and not paying bills and not being able to get a loan from a US bank for what those things are.

I don't have to sit around and use the same arguments that a mafia lawyer or Sean Hannity would.

Where is Donald Trump's honor and integrity? Where is the same thing for his supporters?

Again, these are not WWII vets that are running the Republican party like in years past. It's mostly slackers now.

The upshot of this room full of democrats that claim they are wittneses, is in fact a room full of heresay Trump haters. None of them were in the room when the president made his calls.

There is no doubt they are trying to dig up dirt...on the Obama Administration of which Joe Biden was Vice-President. Just like Trump's DOJ is trying to dig up dirt. Just like Mueller's investigation tried to dig up dirt on the Trump campaign for 2016.

I'm saying the Mueller investigation, a special counsel investigation, was an authorized fishing expedition investigation. Very few other investigations (certainly these impeachment proceedings are not authorized fishing expedition investigations even though they have morphed into fishing expedition investigations) are authorized fishing expedition investigations. That reason being innocence before proof of guilt is the rule of law.

I also highly doubt impeachment proceedings can be used as an interference into the next presidential election, yet, they are.

Finally, my main point is that the Mueller investigation hogged all the news time and hogged all of congress' time and resources for the duration of the Mueller investigation so congress couldn't have entertained another conspiracy theory like the CT that the 'Trump/Russian collusion into the 2016 investigation' was a conspiracy.
And, before that, the Bidens wouldn't have been investigated in congress because Joe Biden was a part of the Obama administration. So, now (or during the Trump administration), is the first opportune time for this Biden investigation to commence.

Iirc, there were some investigations into members of the Obama Admin.
I think they investigated some guy named Benjamin Ghazi or some such.

All in all I find your theories about why the Senate and the DOJ were unable to investigate the Bidens to be flimsy and transparently thin — unable to support anything.

Since you brought up the Benghazi Libya investigation of which Hillary was a main player, I think everyone should be prosecuted for destroying evidence as Hillary and her minions have done.

I thought this from the beginning. We've got a private call between presidents of two countries and everyone and their uncle overheard the conversation on both sides.

Exactly. The left have already been doing this to Trump and Hillary and the DNC were both caught with their pants down, not to mention a whole host of other people in the deep state. And now the left complain because Trump wants corruption investigated. The left don't want foreign governments to investigate their corruption and they don't want the US to investigate Democrat's corruption either. If you are going to be slimeballs then you shouldn't be upset when the other side become slimballs as well.
