Trump won't testify. But Sondland gets more boxed in by the day and Sondland might force Mulvaney out into the open and the NSC attorney that moved the transcript of the TelCal to the higher classification storage might be forced out into the open and the other OMB staffers that were for a time engaged in holding with withheld military aid out into the open. Trumpkin won't care how many bodies he shoves under the bus before he goes under. Rudy will likely end up caught and Pompeo won't likely escape either.

If it was sooo perfect, then Guiliani, Mulvaney and all the rest should march up to the Intelligence Committee and tell us so under oath. It would be great for the Republicans, leave the Democrats with egg on their faces! They should be running in and DEMANDING to testify. Unless of course they have something to hide.....
 
If Trump was subjected to questioning he would incriminate himself 17 different times in the span of an hour.
 
It very likely won't happen. Nixon didn't testify. Clinton didn't testify to Congress, only in the court hearing on his lawsuit. In theory it'd a nice idea; British Prime Ministers answer questions of Parliament, I think every week. trump even cancelled press conferences, other than brief yell over the helicopter lie sessions.
 
What happened to all the "damning evidence" congressional leftists have against DJT? Not to mention the countless "bombshells" going off. And of course who can forget the numerous "smoking guns?" Surely Rep. A. (Pencil Neck) Schitt has the goods on DJT by now. No need for him to testify against himself. :)

Never going to happen. No matter how bad his lawyers are, there is no lawyer in the USA that would have him do anything under oath, and that includes Rudy.

I agree, however he should be under constant pressure to do so, and when he refuses he should be under constant pressure to explain why.

It's clear the man is a criminal and criminals avoid being under oath as much as possible....

Can you imagine? His lawyers would be pulling their hair out as he dug his own presidential grave. Any competent lawyer would tear him to shreds-and his team know it.

I guess they suddenly forgot that the Republicans got their witness lit cut by the unscrupulous Dems. Now why would the Dems do that? For the same exact reason no attorney would advise Trump to step into a possible perjury trap by taking the stand.
 
Considering Trump's history of being a completely truthful human (pffffttttttt) why would anyone think that he'd tell the truth under oath? He's a sociopath. He lies as easily as he breathes. Putting his hand on a bible that he doesn't believe in won't change his lack of morals. Granted, his testimony would be epic. It would be like a retarded 3rd grader's oral report on 12 Angry Men.

Why would he purger himself if there wasn't anything to hide???

And there is more than enough on trump including all the obstruction of Congress for every time he has ordered staff to ignore legal subpoenas, therefore committing felonies themselves.

The Dems might continue to chid Trump about testifying but they know he won't. He is not THAT stupid. However, Fat Donald is not at all averse to throwing people under the bus and Sondland is now in a bunch of hot water. Fat Donald will continue to do the "Gordon Who" dance but that is going to be hard to pull off now. Gordo gets you to Mulvaney and NOW you are in the Oval Office. Can Fat Donald stop the damage at Mulvaney and Rudy? Will those two be willing to take the fall? I don't think either one will for different reasons.

Mulvaney is a yellow dog, yellow streak as long and wide as Rosenstein's. Rudy is so corrupt now that his future does not depend on maintaining some sort of reputation. However he needs to keep making money at a high rate. He has got major recurring expenses.

Why what does shift know that we don't about trumps crimes?

The whistleblower is irrelevant,everything he or she reported was 100% factual and has been corroborated.

Neither testimony would add anything.

Trumps testimony on the other hand would clear everything up...

Hmmm, I wonder if congressional leftists can compel a president to testify against himself even though there exists a 5th Amendment? The way they have been acting, DJT has committed a crime.
