That quote did not come from the usual Repug clown stooges, such as Jim Jordan or Trey Gowdy. That quote came from Steve Castor, the Republicans' chief counsel, as he questioned Ambassador Taylor about Guiliani's inappropriate back channel diplomacy with Ukraine. Even Taylor laughed at that ridiculous question.

Mr. Castor then followed up with another laugher - "It may be irregular, but it's certainly not outlandish". Well done, Mr. Castor!

This all that you need to know about the incompetent Repug buffoons trying to prop up Trump, Ladies and Gentlemen.

I suppose Mr. Castor is correct -- Guiliani could have been wearing drag with Lev and Igor while he was in Ukraine doing Trump's bidding.

When you have defend your position by saying ‘but it wasn’t outlandish!’... it shows you really have a losing case.

Not outlandish for a president to coordinate back channel with two of the biggest pro-Russian mobsters in Ukraine, yeah...nothing to see here.

It's not outlandish...just highly irregular. The Repugs' chief counsel said it himself!

Yes, Repugs out there...I'm laughing at you!

I just listened to Mark Levin chime in. It goes something like... the constitution doesn't even require a state department, ergo, the President is free to implement foreign policy any way he sees fit. Including the use of bag men like Giuliani.

Well, if Mark Levin said that then the matter is settled! LOL!!

So why didn't the Repugs' chief counsel Steve Castor say that today? Was he too busy telling jokes?

Are you aware one of those mobsters is on Trump's legal team? Parnas?

Democrats want to know who broke the law.
Republicans want to know who ratted them out.

Of courrrrrrrrrse!!

(hat tip to Cenk Uygur)
It seems obvious to me that's Trump's way of giving Parnas executive & attorney-client privilege, keeping him hands-off from the impeachment inquiry & SDNY. With Parnas flipping to assist the inquiry, it seems it didn't work! :2razz:

Are you saying that It seems obvious to (you) that WAS Trump's way of keeping him hands-off from the impeachment inquiry & SDNY?
Just clarify this one word...that's

That IS or That WAS?

I know, sounds obsessive compulsive, doesn't it? :lamo

I have CDO, it's a lot like OCD except the letters are in the proper order - THE WAY THEY SHOULD BE!!!!!!

When you have to stack the deck in an impeachment inquiry because you have failed for 3 years in several previous attempts to impeach a President because you don't like him and are still mad Hillary was a terrible candidate, you have a sick problem.
