How Dishonest Is Adam Schiff?

He has not shown any real evidence that he is looking into corruption, he is just trying to muddy the Biden name for his political gain.

There's already evidence that the President has broken the law... I think it'd be irresponsible for Congress to not investigate the circumstances behind that, don't you?

Those "conspiracies" are not "debunked". In fact, those "conspiracies" are under investigation by US Attorney, John Durham and a few weeks ago it was announced that those investigations had become criminal rather than administrative.

Schiff has now explicitly prohibited questioning of witnesses in regard to the 2016 election even though that is the basis for Trump's "ask" AND he has stated as the reason for the prohibition that the line of questioning is in regard to a "debunked" theory that is actually under a current investigation.

That is how dishonest Adam Schiff is.

A Trump supporter suddenly is questioning others integrity. Clean up your own house before casting stones at others.

Please provide cites of Trumps other efforts at cleaning up Ukrainian corruption that dont make him look like an extortionist.

No there is no proof that the president broke the law, just assumptions. But if you want to investigate something fairly, then you do so in a fair manner. What Shifty has set up is not a fair process.

In fact Shifty was found out to have lied to the American people claiming he did not know who the whistleblower was yet his staff had been in contact with him before he went and filed his complaint. They also directed him to Zaid's law firm for an attorney. A law firm that set up in DC and since Trump was elected have been advertising dirt on Trump.

We all know who the whistleblower is, Eric Ciramella. He was hired by the CIA under John Brennan. He worked for Biden and Rice at the WH on everything Ukraine.

This idea this person claiming whistleblower status protects him from having to testify is bull****. The idea his attorney is nothing more than a highly partisan hack should be concerning.

Adam Schiff is not dishonest. You only want to make him so for your own validation that Trump is right and Schiff is wrong. You're justifying this to yourself, nobody else.

So what have you heard about these new 'criminal' investigations. Anyone indicted yet? Any names put out yet as suspects? What's happening with that. Until there's evidence, testimony, indictments and convictions, it's ALL conspiracy theories.

But, that didn't happen. That was the opinion of part of Mueller's team. Mueller wouldn't even admit to that in his testimony before Congress.

The Mueller report was a bust. Live with it and stop lying.

No... there's proof. The Ukrainian aid package was passed as part of PL 115-245 and signed into law on Sept. 28, 2018. If you look at §9013, on the page labelled "132 Stat. 3045", you'll see the following passage: "...the Secretary of Defense shall, not less than 15 days prior to obligating funds provided under this heading, notify the congressional defense committees in writing of the details of any such obligation". This obligation was fulfilled by Undersecretary of Defense for Policy John C. Rood, in two letters he submitted to the Congressional Defense Committees, dated Feb. 28 and May 23, 2019. Here is a copy of the May 23 letter in which Undersecretary Rood certified the efforts Ukraine had been taking in conjunction with the Dept. of Defense to reduce corruption. Anyway, attached to these letters was a detailed listing of the contents of the aid package going to the Ukraine and the planning timing for it's release. The plans outlined by Undersecretary Rood in both letters were subsequently approved by the Congressional Defense Committees in both the Senate and the House, and were entirely consistent with the subsequent press release issued by the Pentagon on June 18.

At some point between the press release and the July 25 phone call, President Trump decided to defer the release of the aid package. That's his prerogative as President.... provided he notifies Congress about the nature and reasons for the deferral, consistent with 2 USC §684. President Trump did not provide such notification and thus violated the Congressional Budget & Impoundment Control Act of 1974. I realize it's not exactly a war crime... but hey, Al Capone was busted because he cheated on his taxes. I think it to be only fair that Congress investigate the circumstances of the matter fully and completely.

The name Eric Ciarmella has been brought up in several articles to be the "whistleblower. His name was even published in papers Shifty released to the public.

If this is indeed the whistleblower, then Shifty and his crew have some real problems.

Shifty said today if anyone during the public hearings exposes the name of the whistleblower, they will face ethics violations.

I believe one way the Republicans during the hearings could put Shifty in the corner is to ask Shifty directly, "Since you and your staff are aware who the whistleblower is and had spoke with him and directed him to Zaid's law firm for an attorney, would you please confirm that the name being mentioned in the media to be the whistleblower are inaccurate? "

When a mostly anti-Trump publication like the WA Post says Adam Schiff is four Pinocchios-dishonest, that's the very definition of a liar.
