Nikki Haley sets the WH buffoons straight

South Koreans are free and prosperous today because the right side won the war. North Koreans are not, because communists prevailed in the North.

Communists massacred tens of thousands of innocent South Vietnamese before and after the US pulled out. Those innocent people were the real losers.

The Vietnam war was argued to death. Simple tutorial: French had it as a colony. Vietnamese didn't like that and fought, much as colonies often do. France withdrew, we stepped into a quagmire. US lost tens of thousands, Vietnam hundreds of thousands. It would have been a stable left-wing or communist country had we stayed away. Our motives were not humanitarian. We ignored Vietnam's history much as we ignored the history of countries in this hemisphere when we invaded or propped up dictatorships. We didn't want to lose a chess piece on the board. No different than the Romans, French, British or Russians at various times.

The dupe Lt. Col. Vinmann did not call it the deep state. He said his allegiance to "interagency foreign policies" forced him to work to undermine Trump's foreign policies which were not consistent with the "interagency standard."

What the misguided military moron was referring to by his allegiance to the "interagency policies" was the democrat.leftist.liberal.communist deep state.

YouTube

He said nothing of the kind. Vindemann is a patriot.

I understand it's a problem. But not in Flynn's case. Flynn's case is open and shut. The FBI asked him a question, we know for a fact he lied because the government has the phone call in question. He also admitted guilt and is still currently admitting guilt. The idea that it's all fake is a fairy tale.

Comey had Flynn recorded at Trump Tower. He then broke rules and sent two agents to try to trap him in a lie. Flynn was told he did not need a lawyer because it was an informal interview. The agents asked Flynn lots of questions and then discovered afterward that he had had a conversation with a guy he said he had not talked to. There was nothing illegal or unethical about the conversation but the fact that Flynn said he had not had the conversation for whatever reason was all the FBI sting operation needed to nail him and Comey nailed him good.

Years earlier Comey had also nailed Martha Stewart good over a technicality. Comey was quite the wave rider, riding waves of significant charges for insignificant crimes. To hell withy the scumbag. Good riddance.

The polls had nothing to do with her loss, and she should have campaigned harder in many of the areas she lost. Either way, I felt she was the wrong candidate for that particular election because the theme was "change" and she represented the old guard. That race really should have been between Trump and Sanders. The important thing to note though, is from a "poll" perspective, Trump losing the popular vote was a pretty interesting metric in terms of how popular his message really was.

Polls are becoming too much a tool in the hands of propagandists using them to try to sway public opinion.

They found out that Flynn was working as a paid agent of the Turkish Government, a fact he did not disclose.

You can’t have a National Security Advisor who is simultaneously in the pay of a foreign government.

I realize that such elementary concepts of loyalty are foreign to Trumpsters, especially lately, but there it is.

Comey: FBI told Flynn he could have lawyer in interview - POLITICO

Flynn was told he could have a lawyer if he wanted. He chose not to. He was the national security advisor to the president. He knew his rights. Arguing otherwise is silly. Nothing the FBI agents did was out of line.

Mueller releases memo detailing 2017 FBI interview with Flynn | TheHill

Flynn lied numerous times and numerous things. Whether conversations took place, what was said in the conversations etc. He lied and he got busted and has since pleaded guilty. He has admitted under oath that he knew lying to the FBI is a crime and that he knew he was lying when he lied. You have no idea how silly you look trying to deny something so fundamentally basic. It's like arguing that 2+2 might not equal 4 because of some possible technicality that we might find out in the future. No one has time for such bull****.

There there, you’ll always have Rasmussen!

Again the broad brush... after all the hype and tripe about destroying Christian institutions this is the best you can do...

But again the rapid right deflects when cornered- this started over your ignorant, false and highly insulting term for a COMBAT VETERAN who has rendered nothing but FAITHFUL service on VETERAN's DAY!!!!! You also attacked General Kelly....

Try and run away from your own rhetoric by bringing out ignorant stalking horses could be seen by some as cowardly and shameless.... :peace

A General is just another human when it comes to politics. He gets no special consideration and deserves no consideration if he acts to undermine the US government and the President of the United States, especially is he is still in the military and subject to his Commander-in-chief.

Pompeo did the minimum legal obligation of 5 years continuous active duty service after graduating West Point then out, from 1986-91. So Pompeo was a captain for some time between 12 months and 18 months max when 5 years is the prerequisite eligibility for major.

Being promoted from the company grade officer rank of captain to the field grade officer rank of major is a big deal which is why officers who retire at captain don't talk about it much if at all, West Point ones especially. During his SecState nomination trials Pompeo said he hadn't noticed his Wiki bio falsely had him serving in Desert Shield/Desert Storm while he was in Germany in an armored cav unit. A former CIA agent exposed the discrepancy. Pompeo was all gosh golly gee about it.

Pompeo left the military in 1991 and first ran for Congress in 2010.

Pompeo graduated Harvard Law School in 1994 then he went into business funded in part by the Koch Bros. LTC Vindman has the Purple Heart and two combat tours in Iraq. After that Vindman earned an M.A. in Russian and Eurasian studies from Harvard.

Vindman became military attache at the US embassy in Moscow and then in Kyiev, after which Vindman became Russia adviser to the chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff who later assigned Vindman to the National Security Council for Russia-Ukraine. This was after Trump had bumped CJCS off the National Security Council and put Stephen Bannon in the established seat of the chairman. The now retired Marine Gen. "Fighting Joe" Dunford later regained the NSC seat he'd lost after Bannon himself got removed from it.

There's also this about Pompeo:

On March 5, 2016, at the Republican caucus in Wichita Pompeo addressed the issue of an authoritarian president who ignored the constitution and noted that military personnel take an oath to defend the constitution rather than swearing allegiance to a president.[114]

Military officers do not take an oath to disobey or object to plans and policies of their Commander-in-chief, something the former Obama boy Vindmann does not seem to have learned.

First of all, wrapping yourself in the flag, and declaring yourself an American and other people shills isn’t going to insulate you from the facts that you’re taking your lead from crackpots (long standing paid to bray ones at that), and that you don’t have a fact based argument to make.

I gather from Trumpster posters here, and from some of what I’ve heard on the radio, that the Trumpster defense now seems to be that everyone who didn’t either look the other way, or endorse Trump’s half assed extortion plot are traitors.

Dr. Corsi tells the truth and the diseased rats come out of their basement democrat nests to attack him. To hell with the rats. Thank God for good men like Dr. Corsi.

You sure do spew a lot, having a bad week? But I digress, you would support polls if they were in your favor, it’s just the way you are. You could care less as long as you win, unfortunately life doesn’t work that way. You will go down with the ship screaming at the top of your lungs. I will enjoy that.

The only loyalty and fidelity of the military is to the Constitution. Mine too in these matters.

Dummass democrat logic: 'The Constitution gives all humans equal rights so I will do everything I can to destroy Trump for violating the rights of illegal immigrants, both here and abroad.'

Washington as president of the Constitutional Convention proposed successfully the military take an oath to the Constitution and to the Constitution only. Washington made clear he saw the military as the last bulwark against a tyrant leader.

Lt. Dummass to his General, George Washington: 'The hell you say. We don't have to obey you. Our allegiance is to the Constitution.'

In respect of Washington, Article VI requires a military oath to the Constitution. Accordingly, the first law enacted by the first session of the first Congress was the military oath to the Constitution. That is, Public Law 1-1 (the first law enacted by the first Congress).
Military officers know the oath and its history most clearly while only some enlisted are aware. Yet enlisted whether they are Senior NCO or lower enlisted obey the commands of their company commander standing in front of 'em and of their regiment commander standing in front of all the ranks of troops the colonel commands. Colonels in turn obey generals.
Military officers will tell you their oath is to "We the People" and not to "I the Tyrant." Even enlisted who can be confused recognize that no one person is above the law. Any general or admiral will say this with both conviction and resolve.

Lt. Col. Vindmann: 'Trump is violating the Constitution by promoting policies which conflict with Obama's previous policies so I am duty bound by the Constitution to resist the traitor Trump at every turn and to work with other democrat patriots to seek ways to have him impeached and removed from office.'

"We the People of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union. . . do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
The Constitution conforms to the principle in the Declaration of Independence: “Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”
George Washington led the Constitutional Convention and assured acceptance of the Constitution. As Military Commander and then our first President, he set the pattern for American civil-military relations. He remains our nation’s foremost leader of character.

I spent 3 days on campus at West Point as a potential cadet, but I opted out of accepting my guaranteed appointment.

Article VI
All . . . officers . . . of the United States . . . shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation to support this Constitution.
Plaque 7
Loyalty to the Constitution

Photo218661.jpg

The United States boldly broke with the ancient military custom of swearing loyalty to a leader. Article VI required that American Officers thereafter swear loyalty to our basic law, the Constitution
While many other nations have suffered military coups, the United States never has. Our American Code of Military Obedience requires that, should orders and the law ever conflict, our officers must obey the law. Many other nations have adopted our principle of loyalty to the basic law.
This nation must have military leaders of principle and integrity so strong that their oaths to support and defend the Constitution will unfailingly govern their actions. The purpose of the United States Military Academy is to provide such leaders of character.

Constitution Corner Historical Marker

The armed forces never would act to destroy democracy or the Constitution. The armed forces would act however to restore democracy and the Constitution.
As an US Army veteran of the Vietnam era and a taxpaying US citizen, I voted for Trump to decide what policies should be promoted according to the Constitution, not his radical leftist communist anarchist immoral, unethical, and illegal opponents.

So I'll assume you feel the same way when Trump cites Rasmussen polling data when it's convenient. The Propagandist in Chief?

Republicans are gonna need all the diversions they can find once the public impeachment starts and the facts are presented.

I'm waiting for the honorable and religious republicans to stand up and do the right thing.

I would say, don't hold your breath on them doing the right thing. Unless they are forced into doing what is right, by a majority of American's really getting behind removal, in a big way. Then it is still a coin-toss.

The Russians hacked the DNC and interfered in the election in "sweeping and systematic fashion and violated US criminal law". That is what the Mueller Report and the bipartisan Senate report said.

Really? So no wonder Trump asked for the names of the hackers, for the computers they used, and who they may have been in contact with in America. The whole thing sounds entirely reasonable to me, especially since Mueller never came up with those key items. Mueller could not even find out who Guccifer 2.0 was even given 2 years to look for him. Better investigators found out who Guccifer 1.0 was in about 2 days and put his ass in jail.

Funny how that DNC server has NEVER been examined by the FBI. You'd think the very first act after a foreign power compromised your server would be to turn it over to the FBI. That this never happened smells like dead fish. I wonder what they are hiding.

There was a lot of opposition in America, particularly from the left, to American rescue of oppressed people facing the brutality of communism. We suffered great losses in two world wars fighting for global human rights and freedom, and lost tens of thousands of young Americans securing freedom for South Korea.

By the time Iraq rolled around democrats were building up steam in their opposition to US involvement overseas. After Obama overthrew Gaddafi in 2011 I think he had strength left to honor the Budapest memorandum when Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014.

"Be honest, Trump is worried about..." How the hell do you know that? Don't answer. Democrats 'know' all sorts of things which are simply not true.

And all that being said, are still woefully behind the Republicans who feign knowing nothing at all, unless doth spake'd by Donald J Trump.

Bolshevik democrat communist traitors will never stop accusing Trump, ICE officials, police officers and Christians of being criminals. Those barbarians need to be put down before they destroy the whole nation in their zeal to seize wicked control for themselves and their friends and evil agenda.

There, is, in all seriousness, not enough eye rolly emoticons to address the bolded. It is about as far as I got.

Well, you Trump supporters have been telling me "don't listen to what he says, pay attention to what he does". If we go by that standard then he doesn't give a **** about the veterans or the presidency or the constitution. I'm using yalls standards. So don't get upset with me :2wave:

Or cancer patients from who he sold charity money.

So if 3 people working for the president have a discussion and 2 of them tell the other 1 that she needs to help them work against the president, she can't tell the president because it's a "confidential" conversation? Please. I already know that you'll say anything and everything to twist around to defend Donald or his acolytes, but you need to draw a line somewhere. She said they were "undermining" the president, "going against the constitution", and "offensive". And she didn't tell the president? Please. She had a duty if she actually thought people were undermining the president to say so and fix the situation. No amount of your gobbledygook will change that. The real story here is that his hand picked SOS and COS, both Republicans, one a successful business man, the other a decorated general who served his country and who's son died fighting for this country, both thought the president was ignorant and dangerous to a level that they had to take extraordinary precautions to protect the american people from him.

She is only saying this now to help groom her path to being the next GOP nominee in 2024.

Heat was also on the black and white guy for the failures in Benghazi, which is why he sent Susan Rice out to lie for him on 5 shows that Sunday.

I sincerely hope you are not really religious.
I mean I have no dog in the fight, but if you are, whoa doggy.

Not kill them. Take them down off their pompous high chairs and teach them that Americans are in charge, not high-stepping jack-booted dictatorial democrats.

Well, if that is what you meant by your first statement, you suck at statements.
