If the guys in the engine room know the captain is doing nothing to prevent the crash, there's a good chance they'll take action. Unless of course their sense of duty supersedes self preservation. Often the latter wins. That's why I said what the perceived severity is what helps determine the actions to contradict what the president wants to do.

Here are the facts, which are no doubt now a part of the Durham investigation:

1. Comey had Trump-hating spies gather conversations in Trump Tower as part of Obama's investigation into the Trump campaign
2. Comey selected conversations Flynn had in his lawful everyday business.
3. Comey saw that Flynn had talked with a Russian and decided to try to fashion that fact into some sort of support for Hillary's false Trump/Russian collusion narrative, even though Flynn's conversation was completely legit and above-board.
4. Comey craftily sent in two FBI interrogators under the false premise of just doing a background study, telling Flynn he did not need a lawyer in a lie designed by Comey, and hiding from him the fact that they were out for blood.
5. Comey then compared the taped interrogation with the phone conversation and found a discrepancy, which he successfully turned into a full-blown criminal charge against Flynn, even though the conversation itself was perfectly legal and above-board.
6. Comey bragged about bringing Flynn down by deceit he admitted he would have never gotten away with under Obama or Bush.

The FBI had good reason to begin a counterintelligence investigation on the Trump campaign. Paul Manafort.

Michael Flynn, in case you're not aware, was being paid by Erdogan of Turkey to KIDNAP a U.S. resident to smuggle him back to Turkey to be executed. Is that okay with you, that our NATIONAL SECURITY DIRECTOR was going to kidnap a man from his home in Pennsylvania to return him to the hands of Erdogan to be murdered. That's really okay with you?

Michael Flynn was a rogue bad apple, that's why he was convicted of lying to the FBI and will be sentenced for that crime next month.

At least she injected some common sense into the crowd of angry bulls wanting to get Trump out of the way so they could take charge. As if the American people would even vote for their proud dummasses. They remind me of Al Haig, another former military general state department buffoon who showed during the assassination attempt on Reagan that he did not know the US Constitution at all.

I put owner in quotes because it was less to call them his boss and more for the fact that they are the ones tasked with keeping him in check, much like the owner is the only one who can fire a head coach. Funny you would talk about the people who elected him as his boss, though, and not the people elected in the House who are the ONLY ones given the power of impeachment, which is the only tool available to anyone to get rid of potentially corrupt executives.

Democrats keep speculating as to how Trump got elected in spite of the impossibility in their minds that such a thing could ever happen. Now democrats are openly saying the only way Trump can get reelected is if they fail to impeach him before the 2020 election. The irony is significant.

You really should stop reading the misinformation about him that Donald Trump put out about McCain.

He was far from a traitor, and even had the chance to pull a move I'm sure Trump would have taken and get out based on his daddies name and notoriety. He didn't take it.

You should be ashamed of yourself for saying **** like that, but I'm starting to figure out that you don't have the ability to be ashamed, as evidenced by your ability to defend all things Trump and denigrate things that the average person call honorable.
