Any comments on Trump's $2 million sleaze fine?

This will make decent people stop supporting him.

I said "decent"!!!

It is sad that you just assume everybody is corrupt because your boy is.

It's sad that you assume that everyone in the world is as pure as the driven snow.

But, you don't say **** about the Clinton Foundation.

More Clinton Shenanigans in Haiti - WSJ

1) This thread is not about the Clinton Foundation. Start another thread.

2) The Clinton Foundation does great work and they have an A+ rating on Charity Navigator.

3) Clinton didn't buy a portrait of herself let alone pay off her lawyers with money that was donated by others for charitable purposes. Think about that for a second.

4) I'm SHOCKED that you have nothing to say about Trumps' horrible misuse of charity money. SHOCKED.

i think everybody knows bill clinton would not pay for others to have sex. He might pay for his own but it was up to epstein to provide for others.

Also, everybody knows hillary hired fusion gps to come up with dirt on trump in an effort to change the outcome of the 2016 election.

Thread title: Any comments on Trump's $2 million sleaze fine?

too low! Not a steep enough penalty.

Agreed, appears to be a pattern for Trump. A 2 million dollar against the law investment/ penalty to make many millions more.

You seem to have peculiarly intimate knowledge of Trump/Clinton/Epstein friendships and encounters. How many times did Trump go to pedophile isle? Any that you can prove? How many times did Bill Clinton go? Any number that you can prove is not a minimum?

Would you please just shut the hell up here about Clinton and Epstein? You do this in damn near every thread when you cannot respond to the OP with any substance. You constantly attempt to derail the thread with you non-stop "Whataboutism".

They probably do and if other charities were put under a microscope like Trump has, there's no telling what we might find.

But, even after being put under a microscopen this...is...all...they...found.

I've been on the board of a few non-profits. The rules regulating the non-profits I have personal knowledge of were standard and fairly easy to comprehend. You have lawyers who can and do attend board meetings who among other things monitor the results of annual reviews and reports. Of course, the board must meet on a scheduled basis and actually discuss foundation goals, progress, activities, needs, and financials.

To begin with, Trump's board established by Trump in 1988 consisted of Trump, Eric, Ivanka and Fredo Trump Jr. Also included on the board was Allen Weisselberg who - interestingly - testified in 2017 that he wasn't even aware that he was on the board for at least "10 to 15 years."

The board had not met since 1999. As a result, Trump made all decisions regarding the granting of the foundation's money.

See the red flags? That's just the beginning. Trump's dishonesty was purposeful, intended. Don't tell us that a Stable Genius who graduated at the top of his class from Wharton, and a wildly successful self-made businessman billionaire didn't know from the outset that he was breaking the law.

There is much more but I'm sure you have read it all. Trump's foundation actions and inactions were pure Trump. Same old, same old. Law avoidance and rule breaking.

If there was any remaining doubt as to Trump's criminal sleaze this should dispel it. Stealing from one's own children's 'charity' to buy a picture of yourself and contribute charity donations to your campaign fund is about as low as you can get. This is one disgusting narcissistic and venal individual.

LOL

And I'll bet dollars to donuts many people who voted for Hillary Clinton were not really outraged by so called "sleaze". A woman who took millions for the Clinton foundation from some of the most disgusting characters around the world.

Or maybe they didn't end up voting for Hillary, maybe they all wrote in Mother Theresa on their ballots?

LOL

“Rumored”, “reported”? If you’re gonna lie, as Ambassador Sondland says, “go big or go home”!

You shoulda posted that the Clinton’s were the ones who kept Epstein’s island stocked with underaged girls, expanding their child sexual trafficking ring that started in a D.C. pizzeria, and that the Steele dossier was really all about Bill Clinton, but they just switched the names in a dastardly attempt to smear Donald Trump’s squeaky clean public image!

You’re forgetting the murder of Foster.

America is divided between God Bless American patriots and "Goddamn America" socialist hedonists. Trump wisely tapped into the patriotic side and won the election while Hillary unwisely chose to cater to the wicked and lost.

Thank you, Cotton Mather.

Remind me, who is your 'president' right now, Clinton or Trump? If you want to deflect and whine about Clinton start your own thread.

Thank you, Cotton Mather.

Patriotism is pride in country, but Jesus taught that pride was one of the seven deadly sins, so I doubt that Jesus would support patriotism.

These sound like the life philosophy of Donald J. Trump, so I question that claim that he is Christian in any way.

People have always been immoral, shiftless, and self-gratifying. For ages, humankind struggled to find a conceptual system to operationalize their spiritual shortcomings.

Pride is excessive belief in one's own abilities, that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity.

Envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation.

Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.

Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.

Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath.

Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness.

Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.

Par for the course with Trump, not surprised at all.

Yup...we're not hearing much because at this point it's like noticing when Trump cuts a loud fart or something.
He simply expects everyone to just blame themselves.

Farted Bill Barr Trump farted.jpg

Bill Clinton is rumored to have taken many $30 thousand dollar trips to Epstein's pedophile isle and Hillary is reported to have bought a several million dollar fake anti-Trump spy dossier with money taken from the Clinton foundation.

Is there no end to the crooked dealings by crooked politicians?

It doesn't work that way; agreement is not a requirement in a debate. We aren't part of England here anymore.

Not one Conservative on this thread has condemned Trumps actions. They really have lowered the bar for this guy.

I think it is just hard to take this mess more serious than the foundation that took in 2 BILLION dollars in contributions much of it in expectation of getting access. If there is condemnation to be so easily thrown about, it needs to cut more than just one way. If raising the bar is really an important objective for people, then it should have been raised up before this guy became president. That's all I was suggesting.

So you are fine with Trumps pudgy fingers inside a charitys purse? Care to condemn without using the word Clinton?

Let's just say I will be willing to condemn lots of things about this current President as long as those who are casting the first stones condemn all of the corruption in the Clinton, Bush, Kerry, Kennedy, McCain, Gore, and Romney camps first. But especially the Clintons, Bushes and Kennedy's.

I'd never seen reciprocation as a first principle. That's really spineless.
