Apparently the author's stated reason for not announcing who he is (or she for that matter) is that there are very few adults left in the room and he or she is still needed.

Of course trumpsters are going to shout things like gutless etcetera I really don't care they are predictable

But I look forward to reading this book when it comes out in a few weeks

 
There are no interesting excerpts. I have as little regard for this trash as I had for the anonymous op-ed. If we do not realize by now that what is in these excerpts is what is going on at 1600 then we are simply dumb as doorknobs. Of course this crew was not and is not hatching another dem plot. Neither are they from RINO land trying to subvert policy. NO KIDDING! Tell me something I don't know.

These anonymous folks are just trying to hold on for what that is worth....not MUCH in my opinion.

Either buck up, expose yourself or yourselves so the American public really does know what it faces in four more years of Trumpkin or shut up.

Spiraling from crisis to crisis like a 12 year old! Who did not already know this? Line up in the dumb as a doorknob line please so we at least know who you are.

This "book" is simply more self-serving horse crap as was the op-ed.

Come out from the shadows as have the public servants with guts, most of those giving depositions on the Hill. Either do that or SHUT UP!

Consider the writer's motivation. They are a senior member of the Administration and feel that resigning would remove a failsafe to the President's risky behavior. Are they right to do that? Probably not, but they feel it's important not to leave the toddler alone with the launch codes.

Really, and what have those failsafes done? He is worse than ever....EVER and anonymous is STILL around.

DonDon will not stop walking himself and us farther out on a limb until he is stopped. Appeasing him does nothing. Trying to mitigate his behavior does nothing. Isn't that obvious by now? He will take the benefit which is all to him for walking out on that limb and leave the clean up all to us.

Unless Anonymous comes out from behind the shadows his or her impact (notice I said impact, not credibility) his or her impact is simply watered down to another reading assignment for people that should already know what is between the covers of this book.

Do something that has impact Anonymous and I will be impressed. Until then, SHUT UP!

The only difference between this anonymous author and Wolff or Woodward or all the others is that they had the balls to put their own names to their nonsense. Other than that, the lot of them are nothing but unsubstantiated claims and outlandish rhetoric.

Everything said in these books would be right at home with the same kind of nonsense you see in the multimedia echo chamber, with their unnamed sources...except the book writers wouldn't get paid for it. (and it ends up in the echo chamber anyway)

But hey...I guess there's no reason for the media to get all the income from the nonsense, is there? Let a writer or five set themselves up to make millions, too.

Really....DonDon is not going to mess with the launch codes. He might reach for a big mac and hit the "button" by mistake. There is no such thing as a failsafe for that. But he is not going to launch at anybody including KJU.

Yes, I view 'revelatory' books like this, replete with 'sources' unnamed, in the same light as Von Danniken's 'Chariots of the Gods'. Sensationalist, unattributable crap. "Doesn't this 3000 year-old Mayan carving look exactly like an alien in a space ship?" No, it looks like a 3000 year-old Mayan carving.
