I am surprised that your crapola post has generated 30 + pages of replies. You cherry-picked the impeachment clause in the US Constitution;

[shall have the sole Power of Impeachment. Article I, Section 3, Clauses 6 and 7 provides: ... The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Don't rule out SDNY ..... they are waiting for him since he can't be indicted while in office.

As far as the Mueller report -- the campaign colluded with Russia -- just couldn't prove conspiracy and if the House were not narrowing this impeachment inquiry he could be impeached also for 10 potential charges of obstruction of justice.

And the Republican party did nothing and still hasnt done anything? If you want to bring a case against Obama by all means go for it. Meanwhile Obama has not been President for years, but Trump is and the laws that he has broken are pertinent to us today.

You're missing an important part of the issue.

It's not what Trump did that is impeachable. Its why he did it that makes it a "high crime".

All of those things you mentioned before were Obama executing foriegn policy in the best interests of the country (in his opinion).

Trump, on the other hand, was using official foriegn policy in his own personal interest, not the interests of the country.

Well, there are a couple problems with that.

Here's section 872:

If you click "extortion", this comes up:

the term “extortion” means an offense that has as its elements the extraction of anything of value from another person by threatening or placing that person in fear of injury to any person or kidnapping of any person;

Did Donald Trump physically threaten President Zelensky?

Was President Zelensky in fear of injury or kidnapping?

He didn't get caught. He wanted to, his advisors told him it was illegal, and nothing happened. The thought police can't impeach Trump just for what he wanted to do and ultimately didn't do.

All you have to do is make the offer to bribe a cop for it to be a crime

No. It's more like he wanted to rob a bank, was told it was illegal to rob banks, and he never attempted to rob the bank. He wanted to withhold aid and his advisors told him it was illegal so the aid was given.
