Rand Paul closing in on the whistleblower

Well, I'm glad you don't go to church because that last paragraph is totally false. I don't want you breaking a commandment.

I'm telling you guys, tons of 2019 republicans are no longer religious.

Why should I care about Republicans and religion...I'm neither.

Yeah, so it is ok for Rand Paul, the POTUS and others to threaten the whistleblower, but you get your panties in a wad over this?
Sorry, not buying it.
Keep selling if you like.

Nobody threatened Ciaramella.

Ciaramella appears to be a leftwing weasel with political ties to the Obama administration. Looks like more of the same **** we've seen for 3 years now.

Sent from Hillary's private email server.

The testimony that Democrats have leaked out. Of course they don't leak out any testimony that doesn't further their case. And in further hearings, Democrats have made a rule that Republicans can't call any witnesses unless they are approved by Democrats.

They have just released 4 transcripts. You are free to read them.

That's pretty much what all Republicans should say. It's all fake and has been for decades.

And you are telling me this...why?

Oh...wait...I'm the only one talking to you, right? Well, let's fix that...

You are dismissed.

It will mean that the Senate will not vote to remove Trump from office. The left seem to have forgotten that the vote will be held in the Republican Senate, just as Bill Clinton's impeachment trial was decided by a Democratic Senate.

This is a trial with two juries, the Senate and the voters. It will be televised so both juries can see all the evidence. If the Senate doesn't convict, the voters may throw Trump out next November.

what's dismissed is republicans from the Christian churches that preach love and tolerance. or people like you who aren't religious at all.

shame really. Christianity didn't have to follow this path. it's a bunch or dark and lost souls now.

Rand Paul made a public appeal to the press when he spoke at Trump's rally in Kentucky two days ago. He's demanding the name of the whistleblower be made public so the right can attack this man and rip his reputation to shreds. The whistleblower's identity isn't even relevant any longer since at least 4 witnesses have given depositions that validate everything the whistleblower claimed.

Rand Paul and Donald Trump are insisting that media break the law by revealing this man's identity. The Whistleblower Protection Act protects his identity and his physical safety. So we can see how this is going to proceed. We have a Congressman and President that are both eager to break the law and to encourage others to do so, we have a Senator that refuses to even read transcripts of depositions and is already refusing to impeach Trump no matter what the charges are. The whistleblower's lawyer has sent a shot of warning over the bow of Rand Paul in two tweets today.

Trump will possibly reach the 2020 election as a president that has been impeached already, but only in the House of Representative, not the Senate. That is not going to be a 'good look' for a president that's going to have to convince the majority of people that he's not a crook and give him 4 more years to damage our democracy. I just don't see that happening.

In the interim, between today and next November, the Supreme Court may hear the case -- if they even choose to hear it --- regarding Trump's tax returns. If they do, they will no doubt uphold the ruling of the two lower courts, I don't care who in Trump's camp sits on the SC, they will most certainly uphold the two previous rulings, because they were ruled according to the letter of the law. If 8 years of Trump's taxes are released between today and Nov. 3, 2020, he's going to be wallowing in a sea of trouble and his reputation, even with his base, is going to recede even more.

Aside from his constitutional rights, if the whistleblower is speaking the truth, he should have nothing to fear. I also think that an accused has a right to face the accuser, eventually.

What I have observed thus far since the 2016 election is Dems going on full offense, and the Reps limping behind, always on the defense. I think it is time Reps go an full offense and turn the table. Both parties are sadly doing nothing else but fighting for power, so whatever the game, I refuse to get upset.
It is high time for a decent third party. This game is getting old.

If every whistleblower had their identity revealed, there probably wouldn't be any more whistleblowers. This isn't like a simple case of someone stealing a bag of chips from the local QuickStop, this is national security we're talking about here. Jeffrey Epstein didn't feel safe in prison and told his lawyers he was afraid for his life. According to the opinion of other forensic experts, his death was more likely a homicide not a suicide. He was sitting in a federal prison and still couldn't be protected from being murdered.

There's a huge problem when a whistleblower doesn't feel protected any longer. It sends a clear signal to others inside government to shut up and not report anything that may be a threat to our national security. The purpose of whistleblowing is to eradicate unethical behavior inside our government. A key component to government ethics and behavior is integrity, or being honest and doing the right thing at all times. These brave people need to be protected and free of any possible retaliation towards them. No matter who is sitting in the Oval Office, the need for whistleblowers to be able to raise concerns with confidentiality and anonymity is critical.

LOL. In your partisan dreams.
