I have gone all over the place on who I want to replace trump.

But I have finally decided that the winning ticket is Biden/ Buttigieg.

A moderate ticket that will get support from minorities.

It is most important that voters are motivated to vote as the trump nation is only a little over thirty percent of voters.

Biden needs to start running on his economy, he was there when. Obama saved us from a depression. This is Obama's economy, not trumps.

I don't think the country is ready for an openly gay president regardless of how good he would be, however I think they could settle for a gay VP, as a first step...

Why not Bernie or Warren?

Biden/Harris would be more to my liking. She has a ferocity that scares the living feces out of twump and would REALLY put him on edge.

Why must you insist on failure.

Moderate voters are a myth. They absolutely do not exist in America. The GOP learned this after 2012 and voted for a far right racist. The Democrats have an obligation to do better and vote for Bernie Sanders with Warren being the moderate VP

Cool. Now all you have to do is convince the DNC Elites, since it will be they who decide who is on the ticket.

Be aware, though...they don't give a **** what you think.

I've fallen back from Biden over the months, but after seeing yesterday's polling of the battle-ground states, he does look very electable in them. And, I really like the idea of Buttigieg on the bottom of the ticket (for many reasons). So straight-up, I can't fault your choice here. I'm all for whoever's most electable, especially if Buttigieg is on the ticket.

I suspect the DNC learned the folly of their ways, though I can't guarantee it.

Mayor Pete has some very real skeletons in his closet. Why not release those tapes?

I won't support any of the moderates. Moderation has gotten us nowhere. Trump was elected because people want CHANGE.

Voting in Biden, Booty, Harris, Booker or any of the other moderates is a recipe for disaster.

Mark my words.

Perhaps they did, but the media did not. The endless smears of Sanders is absolutely grotesque, and the blatant favoritism of folks like Biden is so grotesque as to be hilarious.

I agree with your choice, they would be a good team and would attract votes from those who don't want to go as far left as Sanders or Warren. I like Biden with Buttigieg as his VP.

Another person I've been thinking about for Biden's VP is Stacey Abrams. I'm not one of them (I don't care about gender or race as long as they're capable to do the job), but there are a lot of people who were extra excited to see a woman in the White House, and I think even as VP would be satisfying to them. She's a smart lady with the right attitude, and I think I read that she would be open for such a position.

Trump is scared of all women and people of color.

I'm European center left and support bold moves to bring the US more in line with the rest of the first world. That being said, just nominate whoever is polling the best against the mad king. Voting him out has to be job one. If that means a moderate, so be it.

A little to far left for the average american.

Don't get me wrong , I will vote for whoever apposes trump, I just think a more moderate ticket is the winning ticket...

Two good choices, though I'd like to see a woman on the ticket Klobuchar

True. There isn't any worse than Trump around. I think Trump is just full blown nut job and needs to be removed ASAP.

"the trump nation is only a little over thirty percent of voters".

Only 30% answer polls, so be careful!!

How did that work out in 2016?

People voted for Obama because they wanted change.

Those same voters voted for Trump because they wanted change.

Now you'll give them a guy who wants to keep marijuana illegal?

No deal.

Hillary didn't lose because she was "moderate"

She lost because she didn't want to change anything. You do realize this; in your hubris you will miss it.

Along The Political Red Line In Central Mass., Voters '''Wanted Change''' | WBUR News

You can find similar tales everywhere. In 2008 a new candidate promising change was on the docket. He didn't change anything. Trump promised change; he changed everything.

I know it's hard to grasp, but there is a burgeoning and growing constituency of which I am a part that no longer wants moderation. I do not desire abdication of -anything- to the right wing.

How about Harris/Buttigieg? Tough, smart and civil.

Only if you’d like to see 4 more years of the orange clown in charge

You think Bernie and Warren are too weak to face Trump in debates? Seriously, when it comes to debate vs Trump, Kamala Harris is pretty good, but I'm not sure if Kamala's policies are good enough. Biden is most likely puppet type and elites buddy. US need some true movement, not just new POTUS and Warren/Bernie are part of that movement already. It's still weak at this point, but can grow stronger. Biden is meh at it's best.
