Do conservatives see ANY injustice in society?

The answer to your list of problems isn't letting in unqualified students to universities. It's getting them qualified long before they arrive. Otherwise, you just set them up for failure.

BTW, Asian students regularly outperform white students. Is that because they are all richer than whites? Inherently smarter? No, it is because they place a premium on education and its importance above that of all other groups. IOW, they are prepared when it comes time to apply to universities. Yet, they are being kept out to let in others who haven't arrived prepared.

I understand that you perceive a problem with unqualified minority students being admitted into universities, but I've heard no proposals from you on how to address your issue. Maybe a national ad campaign telling minorities that they must place a higher premium on education? Funding all our schools, at all levels is a more practical and effective solution.

And the median annual income of Asian American households is $73,060, compared with $53,600 among all households. Wealth makes the difference in the vast majority of cases. Just like most things in life...

You seem to be all over the map here. First you claim that, "wealth doesn't equate to ability necessarily". Then you say wealth has always some advantages. And now you're claiming that wealth has nothing to do with ability, as it's innate.

If wealth, connections and skin color has no effect on the huge disparity between minorities and white's educational attainment and the resulting gap in incomes, then the only other interpretation is the old blatant racist claim that minorities have an inborn lack of ability. I'd hate to have to ignore you like I've done to way too many other conservative racists. If I did, I know it would be devastating and you'd never be able to get to sleep tonight.

In reality there're many reasons for this disparity and its results, including; Black kids earning half as many high school diplomas, black teachers having, "...significantly lower educational expectations for black students..." and schools serving low-income and minority students not offering the math and science courses needed for college.

"Racial segregation in public education has been illegal for 65 years in the United States. Yet American public schools remain largely separate and unequal — with profound consequences for students, especially students of color...

"...More than half of the nation’s schoolchildren are in racially concentrated districts, where over 75 percent of students are either white or nonwhite.” In addition, school districts are often segregated by income. The nexus of racial and economic segregation has intensified educational gaps between rich and poor students, and between white students and students of color..."

...

Of course you're right about 'good' teachers', helping bring out a student's ability. But the underpaid, 'bad', teachers disproportionately found in poor school districts, aren't nearly as much help in bringing out the abilities minorities do have.

And you're right again, there will always be a wide disparity in ability and achievements in any group of people, in any discipline. But if you look at the data on poor verses wealthy school districts, as an extreme example, you'll find that one produces more doctors with wide disparities in ability and the other that produces more store clerks with wide disparities in ability...

For whatever it is worth, I think you are jousting with either an INTJ or an INFJ, probably the former. What you see as all over the place is because you two are employing different kinds of logic.

.

No its not!!! they tried that many times in ghetto schools and it makes no difference. When its white to do well in school and white to get married blacks are shooting themselves in the foot while white liberals are afraid to say anything thinking its racist.
