Here is a grateful word of thanks from democrat John Conyers to republican Judiciary Committee Chairman Henry Hyde in 1998:

"You know as well as I," Conyers told Hyde, "that whatever action this committee takes must be fair, it must be bipartisan, for it to have credibility. The American people deserve no less, and history will judge us by how well we achieve that goal."

Sorry, Mr. Conyers, Adam Schitff cannot allow republicans to participate because his case is being built on inaccurate and dishonest twists of evidence for the purpose of achieving the supreme goal of all democrats leading up to the 2020 election: 'Trump must be impeached before he has the chance to stomp the democrat candidate in the 2020 election.'

Democrats have abandoned bipartisan format of Clinton impeachment
    From your cited report...
"Democrats are holding hearings behind closed doors and have so far provided Republicans with little more than the right to question witnesses who show up in a secure hearing room in the basement of the U.S. Capitol."

What do you think should happen and isn't? Do you think the press should be present during every stage of an investigation? Because that's what this is- an investigation. When (and if) it becomes an impeachment proceding you can rest assured that every 'i' will be dotted and every 't' crossed.

So what, now you're upset that there isn't a special prosecutor? You weren't happy when there was one
I get the feeling that you have no ideals except "Trump is our God."

    Mum's the word lol!
It's an investigation, and Republicans have the right to question witnesses. What do you think should be happening?

Might I suggest not to lose so many elections then? That way you can make the rule changes like you did when you guys were in charge.

Behind closed doors the whole screwy investigation. Not the image you like to see if you believe democracy thrives in the light.

News Flash!! Republicans DO participate in these hearings. This entire thread only goes to prove how clueless you are regarding these impeachment hearings.

It's not a democratic process, It's an investigation. Investigations are always done in secrecy. How else can you protect the people who are investigated and found guiltless? Do you think the news media should be in on all the steps in the investigation? The report says Republicans question witnesses but you don't see them making it public.
I don't see what you think should be done better.

Apparently he didn't read his own cited report.

"Democrats are holding hearings behind closed doors and have so far provided Republicans with little more than the right to question witnesses who show up in a secure hearing room in the basement of the U.S. Capitol."

Hard to guess what they want. Maybe they think Fox News should be present when witnesses are questioned.
