Hillary Clinton appeared to suggest that Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) is the “favorite of the Russians” to win the 2020 presidential election and is being groomed by Moscow to run as a third-party candidate against the eventual Democratic nominee.

In an interview on the podcast “Campaign HQ,” the former secretary of State warned that the Russian government was poised to once again meddle in the U.S. presidential election through online disinformation efforts and by encouraging a third-party challenger to stir chaos in the contest.

When I was growing up we had to be on the lookout for commies all over the place. Pete Seeger was a commie, Orson Welles was a commie, Zero Mostel wasn't just a commie but he even played a Russian on stage.

Just a few years ago it was Trump and his supporters that were commies...or at least "Russian assets".

Now it's Democrats who don't toe the party line that are commies...or "Russian assets".

What's funny about this whole thing, however, is that the Democrats that DO toe the party line sound more and more every day JUST like those commies we were supposed to be looking out for 50 years ago.

 
To me they sound more like the McCarthy-ites. The colors even work since MAGA hats are red.
 
Russian interference was and is real. The longer people pretend it's a myth, the longer we get ****ed by Putin.

It's a good comparison. Today's Democrats sound like 1950's McCarthy Republicans. I'm glad I thought of it.

One need not say the Russians didn't try anything at all in order to say the obsession with naming people as "Russian assets" is bat**** lunacy.

Gabbard is favored by Russia because that's the means to sow the greatest discord. The evidence is undeniable and the reasoning obvious even to a moron.

That is not calling her an asset. The right wing rag made that up. And people that know nothing about this believe the rag.

Remind me, wasn't it mostly conservatives who were obsessed with communists and homosexuals?

FDR was pushing a second New Deal with guaranteed jobs for everyone. Conservatives were able to stall the progressive movement with the red scare and labeling progressive ideas "socialist."

But it is a fact that the Russians are promoting Tulsi. I don't believe she's cooperating with them.

But I was watching CNN and I was shocked when one of their analysts called her a "Puppet of the Russian government." I felt that was going way too far.

I think it was dumb for her to visit Assad. Assad is a monster who used chemical weapons and worked with Russia to cover it up by blowing up a hospital full of victims. We're talking about extreme evil.

Asset has more than one definition. It doesn't only mean "intelligence agent".

This is coming from the people that told us citizen means agent, so perhaps I should not be surprised.

Clinton's unlikely claim notwithstanding, our entire law enforcement and intelligence community concluded that Russians interfered in our elections in 2016 and they're interfering right now. Mueller said that in his report and he said it in the hearing.

At a certain point, you have to ask yourself what you get out of denying or minimizing it.

Which of these facts is false?

1) Tulsi Gabbard has, repeatedly, downplayed Russian aggression and has received campaign donations from Russian sympathizers

2) A now exposed Russian troll wrote a positive op-ed about Gabbard for her pro-Assad positions.

3) Russia promoted Tulsi soon after she announced her candidacy.

4) Russian bots likely manipulated Google searches for Tulsi during Dem debates


Which of those are not true?
