    Things look worse for Trump

I think it's something like 52% now, in favor of impeachment

    Not really.

Those numbers show he reamins strong with Republicans, about the same as he always has been with Independent support. But WOW, almost 10% support among Democrats!

I am not surprised at these numbers, despite my inherent lack of faith in polling. It's pretty reflective of his general support as President since his election, despite the constant attempts by the MSM and other special interest groups to unseat him since those 2016 election results were announced.

If the majority of Main Stream Media spends all it's time posting negative reports day after day, then many people are going to believe them.

I personally have no problem with the Dems trying to impeach Trump at this point. I'd love to see them try to prove whatever "high crimes and misdemeanors" that they have been fishing for over 3 years.

Nothing would guarantee a win in 2020 than for another Democratic effort to fall as flat as the collusion narrative did. :

If I stop responding it doesn't mean I've conceded the point or agree with you. It only means I've made my point and I don't mind you having the last word. Please wait a few minutes before "quoting" me. I often correct errors for a minute or two after I post before the final product is ready.

So for a minimum swing, he's still doing rather fine .

This is not really anything new and with this impeachment issue screeching to a halt. He may just rebound in such a way that we've never seen before.
    Why do they run?
Because they have no choice son, such is the way of cowards.
But even a cornered rat, with no choice, will fight.
Yes my son, and that should tell you more than you need to know about the coward.

Multiple depositions have already been recorded and many more are coming. We have yet to hear very much from members of the committees that have already heard testimonies. Once those testimonies are made public, we're going to see clear evidence that Trump's intentions were for political gain, at the expense of the American people.

Once people read, see and listen to live testimony, poll numbers demanding his removal are going to soar rapidly. There's not much likelihood of Trump not being impeached in the Senate.

    Misrepresenting truth again, huh?

Not impeaching / removing from office is not the same thing as support. They may very well hate him but may think it's safer to wait to 2020.

However 6% of Republicans clearly can't wait for him to be gone.

First, they don't have to - bribery is impeachable already (check the Constitution) and the whole Ukrainian business was a bribe.

Second, if they wanted to go the "high crimes and misdemeanors" route, they still don't have to "prove" anything - it's quite open to their own interpretation what it means. E.g. Mueller report provides more than enough evidence on obstruction of justice for that one.

    Done and done.

The only reason it's not happening faster is concern for public opinion. Otherwise, Congress has its case made already.

9% of dems apparently are against impeachment.

That doesn't mean support, it just means they want to take him down in the vote. That percentage believe that to impeach will have a martyring effect ( without the dying part ).

They have a point, and I worry about that, as well. On the other hand, if he is allowed to be the nominee, sure, it's possible he could be reelected.

Since I sincerely believe his reelection would do the planet existential damage, I don't believe he should be allowed to be the nominee ( not for GOP, nothing could stop an independent run ).

    No kidding.
Bad week for Trump, even with Rudy not out there babbling incoherently.
Unfortunately for Donald....Rudy's actions are speaking louder than his words.

Dream on. With all these failed attempts and fake accusations,
coupled with Trump has raised double the amount of all Democrats candidates combined in campaign contributions,
coupled with he has raised more money in voter donations than any other presidential candidate in history,
coupled with the DNC is broke
coupled with the RNC has over 125 million in cash

You are just parroting the same ole Democrat talking points we have been hearing for 3 years now. Empty promises, fake allegations, fake accusations, and fake promises.

None of your stories have been true, none of your Impeachment claims have been true, none of your accusations have been true, and none of your MSM has been true.

Are you sure you're not a paid Trump pundant? You sound exactly like all those idiots on Fox news. To a lot of people, money isn't everything. To Trump it is. The American people have learned to see right thru the con. No chance he wins in 2020 provided he gets that far.
