Meghan McCain Defends Nancy Pelosi Over Donald Trump's 'Unhinged' Photo: 'She Looks Like A Bad B*tch

And now who's having a meltdown?

This exchange is a fine reflection of what Democrats have done to politics. For the Democrats it's no longer about policy or ideas. It's personal and it's vitriolic.

This is pure nonsense.

Newt Gingrich began the new republican demonization of -everything- having to do with Democrats in the 90's. Because of his rhetoric, republicans don't even see democrats as legitimate citizens of the union.

The rising tide of vitriol began with Gingrich, expanded with Limbaugh and everyone else on the right wing sphere. Look at the right wing. While the right has become -exceedingly- extremist, to the point of supporting intrusive religious intrusion into personal health decisions, they decry the "radical left" endlessly.

ENDLESSLY.

You need to ****ing retract your garbage argument, it's ignorant of history and fact.

Trump is only person in Politics capable of fighting back like Honey Badger....Dems don’t like it and aren’t use to it.

Trump is the result of demorats running Hillary, a mistake that they are likely to repeat if they run Warren. The US electorate is still not ready to allow a huge expansion of federal government power and expense (M4A, "free" college or a GND). Congress critters dare not raise federal taxation even enough to cover the current ($4T/year?) cost of the federal government.

To balance the current federal "budget" would require about a 40% increase in personal federal income tax revenue - doing that would spell certain doom, so congress critters just keep on borrowing about $1T/year (kicking the can down the road) and get rewarded for that (inaction?) with a re-election rate of over 90%.

I dislike Lyin' Lizzie but think the regular people of this country will back M4A, because the whole healthcare situation is beyond salvage and is a national disgrace at this point.

Not the HR 676 version of M4A. The mandate that all medical care providers (from hospitals to drug stores) become either public or non-profit entities is simply far too much "socialism" under the guise of "cost control". While that may seem OK for those who do not work as medical care providers, would folks allow the government to demand that all providers of educational books, pencils and paper and computers become non-profit? How about making all housing providers become non-profit to "control costs"?

that goes too far imho

The problem isn't in the providers, but in the finance portion (insurance).

Pretty sure americans in general are sick and tired of bankrolling these entities through taxes and then being demanded to pay more than anyone else for the benefits of their tax funded service, and anyone who ignores that is a wilful shill for the oligarchy.

Wrong. The providers ARE a massive part of the issue, and this is -routinely- ignored by both sides of the equation. Hospital mergers and acquisitions proliferate so networks can retain their "non-profit" status. Look at Mass, where two health providers combined and immediately strong armed the INSURANCE providers for larger payouts for routine services, as detailed HERE:

Everywhere, hospitals are merging — but why should you care? - Harvard Health Blog - Harvard Health Publishing

This is NOT a political issue but has become one by vultures on both sides of the aisle, opportunists sticking regular americans with the bill after we're asked to subsidize these corporate empires "for our own benefit!"

If ever a more sardonic and cruel joke had been played, I have not yet seen it.

I dont believe Speaker Pelosi has called Trump names, she has always refered to him as the President, and been respectful. Its a shame Trump cant reciprocate. She is the Speaker of the House, her position alone demands respect.

Respect is earned, or it has no value.

Nope, the per capita cost for Medicare and Medicaid "coverage" is now about $10K/year. To pretend that $4K/year of that cost is currently going to insurance providers is BS. That (40%?) level of cost savings can only be achieved by paying less to medical care (and supply) providers.

Indoctrinated to show respect, you mean, even when it isn't earned. Clearly the drilling didn't filter down all the way, with the way you "respect" the POTUS, calling him Bone Spurs.

Then again, to my chagrin, I do not expect my own moral outlook to appeal to all. Just so.

Some of the highest paid CEOs work for non-profit medical care providers. That is not going to magically change under M4A.

Docs Get Tiny Raises While Nonprofit Healthcare CEOs Get > $10M

And, as my article showed before, justly so; the healthcare industry has been unjustly inflating cost for decades by merging and presenting a broader strength in strong arming providers to pay more, and more, and more.

I've yet to see a single counter or even real reply to the quandries healthcare mergers and acquisitons present. No one wants to address it, for fear of upsetting "providers."

Well, **** them, I say, let's turn over the apple cart and really see what's underneath.

They're no angels.

And again, I point you DIRECTLY to the article I posted before. Frankly, I care not about doctor pay. In my line of work I see the multi-million dollar houses in multiple states daily for doctors. I spare them no empathy. CEO's are even worse. The entire system needs a shake up, providers included, for all the lies and thievery they have done on all of us.

The same is true for the MIC (defense contractors), yet the single-payer DoD is happy to overpay so long as the congress critters get their campaign cash (legal bribes?) in return.

Moral outlook? Bwahaha

You must have missed the Stormy Daniels show. Please, get down off your high horse, and stop cherry picking which morals suit your politics.

Doesn't address the point, so my reply stands. This is not defense contractors, it's a discussion about healthcare. I as an individual am not happy to overpay. I am in fact sick and ****ing tired of it - aren't you?

Hmm... is walking out of a meeting now "keeping your cool completely"? Somehow, I doubt that is what Pelosi would describe it if anyone walked out of (or refused to attend) one of Pelosi's impeachment "inquiry" House committee meetings.

Well I don't recall her calling trump names when he walked out on their last meeting...

I'm on no high horse. I simply think respect is earned, and do not think Trump has earned any respect, at all.

The Right sure do pick em, a draft dodging ***** grabbing blowheart. A fool and his vote are soon parted.
