Under the new rules, candidates must register at least 3 percent in four polls approved by the party since Sept. 13, or at least 5 percent in two early state polls. Candidates must also earn donations from at least 165,000 unique donors, with at least 600 coming from 20 individual states.
These requirements must be met by the end of Nov. 13. The DNC will officially release the list of qualified candidates around that date, a week in advance of the debate.
They've been doing a pretty good packing lower courts. Why not SCOTUS?No they can't. They need the House.

Yeah, I think I agree. He's young and IMO, already over achieved to date. I see a bright future for Mayor Pete in politics in general, and in POTUS elections for many cycles to come. Most, if not all of the old timers, are most likely taking their last best shot at POTUS.
Yeah, I think I agree.
He might play better nationally, than statewide in conservative Indiana. He should go for Gov of Indiana and try again in 8 years.

Where do you come up with that number? Government HC still needs employees with Civil Service level benefits and salaries, they still need offices, utilities, supplies, equipment etc. I guarantee you Civil service doesn't pinch pennies like a private company does. Private profits pays for growth, we pay for civil service growth.Yes. But it's a wasted 20%. Government cuts-out the profit, and overhead is far less than private insurers - around 2%. That's 18% we can use for healthcare.
Oh, right. Forgot that little detail. GOP just to be satisfied making sure open seats are filled with conservative judges. The lower courts have a large number of empty seats. The GOP is just filling them as fast as they can. To expand the SC it would take legislation.
I wasn't aware of her education. Thanks. Apparently she went on to UC Law. She's obviously a sharp & hard-working lady.

And yet, over 60 former staff signed an open letter praising Klobuchar and stating that she was a caring “mentor and friend” to them.
That's been McConnell's number one priority.
Wasn’t that Harris?
Apparently Azgreg agrees! :2razz:
I must be overly easily impressed tonight. Seems like pretty much all the closing arguments were pretty good.
Pretty sure that was Tulsi. She was insisting that Warren agree with her on it I think.
And you only get that with intelligence + hard work.yeah very strong academic record.
It was Harris.
We got drunk together. He's still just jealous that I could spell powerob with my pee and he couldn't finish the az portion of his name.
I was trying to spell it in Hopi and halfway through I remembered I didn't know Hopi.
