10/15/19 debate thread

I like him. He's the smartest guy in the room wherever he goes. His problem is has almost zero black support. Without it you have no chance in the primary.

“Smartest guy in the room” isn’t a sufficient narrative for gaining public enthusiasm.

Okay, I get that she just doesn’t want to give Republicans their soundbite, but I expected a better presentation by now.

You're expectations from Warren are to high then

Hah!

But somehow, I don't see the Evangelicals voting against Trump no matter who is on the Dem ticket.

Re - Kubuchar: Say what you want, she seems to have sensible & pragmatic ideas. I like that!

The silver tsunami.

Lmao.

I get that but I've been bitching for years that the people smaert enough to steer this country in the right direction are too smart to run for president. Well.....this time we've got one.

Its fun to watch these confederate bunch of losers make ass's of themselves.Trump in a landside in 2020.

Sanders seems fine despite the "heart attack".

You’re not wrong, but he’s not using his intelligence to create the kind of central, driving narrative that Sanders and Warren are.

Fair point. Maybe we can sneak him in as Veep. Think he can bring Indiana along?

I support a military intervention to remove Yang from the stage.

Yang is a decent candidate. His answer here is better than Sanders answer. Actually. His answer here is one of the best answers on this topic period.

Hey, he's better than whichever candidate that was who started off with "I haven't been here before."

To be clear, I have zero doubt we would be extremely lucky to have him as President. But you can’t deny that he’s not running an effective campaign.

Agree. After his early surge he's evaporated.

Too many candidates on one stage, but as they announced them one-by-one, I couldn't help but feel any one of them would be better than Trump.

Not much of an endorsement. So would Ronald McDonald.
