Here's a House Member who gets it.

He does not have to vote on impeachment yet, so why should he expect to see the documents yet? Damn logic getting in the way of your whine....

He's making a point. If you can't see the transcripts or interview witnesses are they just expected to take the Democrats word for it. Having secret hearings, refusing to release the transcript of unclassified testimony, using anonymous witnesses, and kicking Republican members out of the committee hearings will NEVER get an Impeachment. Its an act of desperation.

Why does a House representative need to be on a "proper committee" to see the transcripts?
Why all the secrecy? Why are we only getting what the Democrats want us to see?

Because the democrats control the house, and thus, they control the proceedings. Toughen up. This is what we voted for in 2018; oversight. We were sick and tired of Trump's goons and the man himself running roughshod over everything.

I for one am glad they have taken this approach. Voters aren't buying this BS and it just goes to show how dirty Democrats really are. But when all you have is desperation, what do you have to lose.

No party in their right mind would try something so visible stupid.

Boo ****ing hoo.

The dems own the house and th process of impeachment.

Elections have consequences.

Get on the square, your skin is too ****ing thin!

Regardless of what happens in the House, and there's great doubt that impeachment will ever get out of there, we know that the Senate will not vote to remove Trump. Democrats know this so this is simply an exercise to damage Trump for 2020. Unfortunately, what it's going to do is galvanize the Trump supporters even more and is likely to also turn off plenty of fairminded independents and even some moderate Dems. IOW, Schiff and his cabal are setting themselves up for an even worse thrashing in 2020 than they were going to get originally. Carry on Dems, carry on.

Yes, elections have consequences and the consequence of the 2016 election was that one side became psychotically obsessed over their defeat.

No one is asking him to accept anything yet. There is no vote on impeachment scheduled. Until then, there is nothing to complain about.

Also note, when you say "kicking Republican members out of the committee hearings" you are lying. Democrats and republicans from the 3 committees involved in the interviews are able to attend. The guy who was turned away was not turned away because of his party, but because he was not on one of the committees taking part in the interview. This is why you should avoid lying when you post. Too many people around here actually seek out facts, instead of making **** up.

Trump supporters are in a perpetual state of galvanization. The problem for Trump is that while his supporters are always increasing their state of high dudgeon, their number doesn't expand. Independents are abandoning Trump. They can easily see that, whatever the Dems are doing, Trump's crimes, corruption, incompetence and cruely have simply gone beyond the pale.

Its a little hard to take the argument seriously that the Dems aren't being transparent while Trump's everyday policy is to stonewall and obstruct everything.

So, Trump not cooperating in his own political railroading is "obstruction". I beg to differ.

In my thinking, there is not other reason to keep the information top secret other than the fact that there really is NO there, there.
Glad you agree, it's just another Democratic Party **** show.

It's 2019. Get over 2016, the rest of us have. I know you need some salve but Trump is being held accountable - and that's why I voted blue in 2018.

The tide has turned. Americans are sick and tired and exhausted of this president. A majority supports removal.

This is not oversight.
Oversight is showing transparency, and accountability to the American people, one day, one testimony at a time.
They, WE deserve more than reading leaks and Democratic cherry picks from the media. One day in the future, Adam Schiff will be shown to be on the wrong side of history.

Spare me the hilarity. 2016 gnaws at the left daily, hourly.

I'm over it. You guys are still stunned your bull**** ideology won. Can't blame you, it's not good.

IYO

A slight majority favors an impeachment inquiry, but not a removal from office.

Nonsense. What they're tired of is the 3 year non-stop Democrat obtructionism and political witch hunt. People are exhausted by the raving left, not by Trump. Peace and prosperity is nothing to complain about.

It's too bad you can't admit that, and the reason the Democrats are conducting this **** show is precisely because they won't accept that elections have consequences.

Yea, you mean like a sovereign border, lots of new jobs, economic growth, standing up to China, putting US citizens before illegal foreigners, respecting law enforcement, protecting the Bill of Rights. Bull**** like that?

Those things are going to win again, and more handily.

How many bills have the "obstructionist" dems in the house passed, and the clown car senate refused to vote on?

People are exhausted by Trump, the republicants, and the scummy tactics you guys use.

There is a witch hunt - and the witch is trump.

Burn that skid at the stake.

Its oversight. You just don't like it coz you lost 2018.

DULY ELECTED DEMOCRATS ARE DOING OVERSIGHT.

That makes you sad, huh?
