Did Pelosi play Trump?

Many top Dems have been demanding an Impeachment Inquiry for a couple of years, and Pelosi refused. Even when Barr came out and lied about what was in the Mueller Report, she refused.

And each time she refused Trump likely felt a little bit braver, a little bit less need to be cautious.

I can't help but think she was just giving Donald enough rope...because it sure looks like he's hung himself good in the Ukraine. And he's done the same with Erdogan.

A lot of "progressives" were demanding that Pelosi impeach RIGHT THE HELL NOW instead of taking the time to recognize that impeachment is a long, complicated process. They refused to listen to her and refused to understand that she was biden' her time. ;)

Yeah, perhaps it just worked out that way. But one thing is certain, Trump has hung himself in the Ukraine and Turkey.

I don't know, I think she got pushed into a corner with the "impeachment" frenzy. The Dems best hope is to win in 2020, and they should put their efforts there.

You'll be the first to jump to Trump's defence even if he is found guilty of illegality. There will be accusations of bias against the judiciary (like Trump with the 'Mexican' judge), more screeching about 'witch hunts' and 'coups d'etat'. And nobody will be listening.

Annnnnd she still hasn't done it.

Here's what most people already know. If you have the evidence of criminal acts and have the Power of the House, the ability to expose Republicans and voters to criminal activities by the president to gain support across the isle, and you don't use it, you are either an idiot or you don't have what you claim you have. Kind of like Schiff claiming he had the actual evidence of Trump being a planted Russian agent.

ANd we all saw how that turned out

This isn't any different than what the voters have watched for 3 years. Another partisan hack job that can't stand on its own two feet.
 
There’s nothing left to play. The Mueller report is sufficient to impeach, and she hasn’t called for the vote. She puts the political calculus above doing the right thing. She’s a collaborator.
