Just a random thought by me. 2008 we elected a black man for president. A first. But we have not had a woman president. Hillary thought 2016 would be that year, but she was the wrong candidate.

Will we elect a woman for president in 2020? No idea, but women are leading in our society as of late. #MeToo, with its many successes and some failures, has changed much of our world in the US. Most of the changes have been good, some not so good. But that is the nature of human progression.

In the past week or so, two women stood up. Marie Yovanovitch and Fiona Hill. All men before them have been beta cucked by a weak alpha Donny T.

I bow.

Despite being one of the oldest democracies, the US is way behind the times not every having a woman elected as president. Historically, women have been outstanding leaders in their respective countries. Indira Ghandi, Golda Meir, Margaret Thatcher and Angela Merkel come to mind.

I believe a woman president would read her daily intelligence briefs. I'm sure a woman president wouldn't fire her advisors for disagreeing with her. I doubt a woman president would grab any man by his genitals. I don't think any one of the women candidates have ever slept with a porn star and paid him hush money. Any of the women running for president would hold the EPA up as the ideal to strive to being instead of hamstringing it in the name of enriching sycophantic lobbyists. A woman president wouldn't call anyone else's home country a '****hole country'.

I wouldn't ever vote for a Presidential candidate based on race or gender.

Damn, I hope so!

Much of President Bolsonaro's political base is anti-Feminist women.

I wouldn't ever vote for a Presidential candidate based on race or gender.

Is it okay for a woman President to say that she's basically never been proud of her country? Or to be a liar? Or to have no scruples at all?

If you're trying to depict women as somehow more dutiful--more likely to read intelligence briefings, for example--or somehow superior by virtue of gender, you aren't doing us any favors. Thanks for nothing.

Of course not, but none of the women candidates 'have no scruples'. That's complete hyperbole. Yes I am saying as I've been saying for the past 30 years, we need a woman president to restore dignity and integrity to the office.

No chance unless the Democrats grow a collective brain and nominate Tulsi.

Warren is corrupt scum.

You're dangerously close to agreeing with MGTOW. MGTOW commentators say what you describe is the best way there is to be rejected by a woman.

Liked, and I'd actually consider voting for Obama (despite not having voted for her hubby).

In the interest of keeping with the thread: I'm rather impressed with Betsy DeVos being in Trump's cabinet.
Even better: Let's put Amy Coney Barrett on the Supreme Court!

I was also a fan of Phyllis Schlafly, R.I.P.

That statement makes me want to vomit. Apologies for being gross, but I want to hurl.

No, I assure you that I am not in the same planetary system as MGTOW. But voting on gender or race is just pitiable in my view.

The fear that trumpies have of women is palpable, you do know that hatred of gays stems from hatred of women. Go ahead and be gross. I’m sure more than one woman has hurled while thinking of you.

Don't be so hard on yourself.

Of course Obama and/or Gabbard would have to be running on a 3rd party line.

No mo' Donk votes from me after 2016.

Thanks for misstating the real goal of feminism.
Equal opportunity and equality, remember?

Even I appreciate an anti-Feminist woman. I am going to start a new thread based on what a female co-worker told me.

^ ^Anti-like.

How many times can you change what sex you identify as? And is there a lifetime limit, asking for a friend.

Good Americans vote for good policies, not politically correct racial or gender quotas. What good would a woman president be if she did not have the balls to handle national emergencies demanding no-nonsense quick decisions and decisive action? We don't want political correctness and artificial biased foolishness about quotas as the standard for elections, but should rather put value on good sense, solid abilities and respectable leadership qualities.

Speaking of vomiting, Emma Goldman would at what's been done to her concept of women's rights...
