Violent Trump parody video shown at supporters conference in Miami

Dude, when you try to make just about every thread about you personally (nice restraint in not posting a photo of yourself, by the way), then you make it about you. I don't.

See, there's your problem right there.
You are irritated by the fact that I have the gall to make anything here personal.
It irritates you that I post pictures, it irritates you that I talk about my family.
It's YOU...you have a problem with me, personally.

And you know what? That's just too bad. Sucks to be you.
If it bothers you that much, put me on your iggy list.

Otherwise, sit and spin.

A graphic video shown to supporters at a recent pro-Trump conference in Miami has (rightly) angered many Americans. This is typical of Trump and many of his followers.

Warning: The attached video may be upsetting to some.
YouTube

“A disturbing video depicting President Trump shooting, stabbing and setting on fire critics and the media was played at a conference held by a pro-Trump group at his Miami resort.

The video rampage was shown during a three-day conference held by American Priority at Trump's National Doral Miami, according to the organizers.

In the parody video, Trump's head is superimposed on the body of a man opening fire inside the "Church of Fake News," according to The New York Times, which first reported the playing of the video.

The churchgoers' faces have been edited to include several political critics including the late Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.; Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.; Rep. Maxine Walters, D-Calif.;and Hillary Clinton as well as logos of various news organizations, including CNN, The Washington Post, Politico and NPR.

White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham said in a tweet Monday morning that the president had yet to see the video but that he condemns the contents based on reports. She said he would see it shortly. Trump has yet to respond directly.”

Frankly, I’m not buying anything Ms. Grisham is selling. On numerous occasions, Trump and his supporters have approved, and even endorsed violence against the media and others not on the Trump Kool-Aid train.

If the Dems, or any other group, produced a similar video depicting bloody, violent acts against Trump, conservative officials and media personalities, his supporters would be absolutely apoplectic.

This **** needs to end.

I never watched Kingsman, specifically when I heard about that scene. From what I heard (though I never watched) it seemed to be exploitative violence against a bunch of crazed and hypnotized stereotypical right-wing cut outs that left-to-moderate audience would enjoy seeing murdered, but it was okay, because they are stereotypical right-wing cut-outs who believe nasty things and therefore it is okay to watch them being murdered by British secret agents. I found that idea sickening, and so I have not watched Kingsman.

If it heartens you at all, RaleBulgarian, I do not find it any less sickening when things are reversed politically and it is instead moderate to left-wing cut-outs who are the ones being murdered. This is sick, wrongheaded and disgusting and should be condemned. I think it is reprehensible to find entertainment in simulating the murder of people being killed for the crime of believing things one finds disgusting.

No, my point is that if you try to make threads about you, which you often do, don't complain when people talk about you. You put it there to be talked about.

Can you show us the official permission for this video to be made? After all, you claim this is the latest example of exactly that. BTW, are you sure this is the latest example? According to reports this video was made about a year ago.

Nobody said it was officially made by Trump or his campaign. It is simply stupid and senseless to say that as any sort of defense fo the total hatred displayed in this trash.

And I really am blown away that in the face of such a display of hate what you deem to focus on is the idea that this may or may not be recent. It is simply astounding that you could be so dense to not recognize and condemn the complete hatred of such a piece of pornography.

Shame on you.

John McCain has been dead for 14 months. When are Trump and his retarded drooling supporters going to stop attacking a dead man?

We all know that Trump and his fan hate POWs. Just get back to hating POWs and forget about the dead ones already.

Yes. That was your handwaving, and your lie, because the video, as I showed you, was not shown "as part of the conference" or "to all who attended." And it was condemned by the conference organizers.

I showed you that. You handwaved that off, too.

Never mind that you snipped out the part of my post you didn't want to respond to:

Profound hackishness, indeed.
That the video was not shown to all who attended was my mistake. Apparently it was shown in a “side room” according to the event organizer, so there’s no telling how many Trump supporters wandered in to enjoy the show.
Fake video of Donald Trump shooting his critics and the news media shown at his resort according to New York Times - CNNPolitics

Of course the video was condemned once news of it’s showing was made public. That means nothing. If those involved in organizing the event, or Trump supporter attendees were the ones to go public that would have been worthy of recognition, but that didn’t happen.

As for you incomparable examples to the video, I gave them the attention they deserved. Your dissatisfaction with my response isn’t my concern.

It does hearten me for others of any or no political leaning to condemn incidents like the subject of this thread. The anger/divisiveness among decent Americans who happen to have differing political beliefs has gotten way out of hand over the last few years and needs to end. It’s bad for the parties and bad for all Americans.

It wasn't shown as part of the conference, either.

That you say "apparently it was shown . . . " and then link to a CNN story, when I already provided you with exactly that information (in a big, big graphic), indicates to me that you're not even reading my posts.

Which means you probably never bothered to even find out what other comparable events I linked to even are. You just said "NOT COMPARABLE!!" without even looking.

Of course the video was condemned once news of it’s showing was made public.

I think you miswrote "once the organizers found out it had been played."

That means nothing. If those involved in organizing the event, or Trump supporter attendees were the ones to go public that would have been worthy of recognition, but that didn’t happen.

To go public with something they didn't know about?

What it definitely means, of course, is that they didn't endorse it, as you are still trying to make it seem, but they condemned it.

As for you incomparable examples to the video, I gave them the attention they deserved. Your dissatisfaction with my response isn’t my concern.

Which was to handwave them away, of course, with no indication as to why they're "incomparable."

Let's see, you have a problem with what happened here, but you keep insisting "no, no, that's DIFFERENT" when it's a mock assassination of Trump at a Democratic fundraiser.

No, that's not transparent partisan hackery at all.

How do you know that? The event organizer didn’t say the video was shown in a private room at the Trump property, he said it was shown “in a side room”. Do you know what a “side room” means?

To go public with something they didn't know about?

What it definitely means, of course, is that they didn't endorse it, as you are still trying to make it seem, but they condemned it.
I specifically stated that conference attendees who did watch the video or the organizer who may well have seen the did not come forward.

I’m done responding to your sad comparison attempts.

Shame on you.

You said Trump gave official permission, and that this year old+ video was the “latest example”.

Trump gave official permission for the far right wing hate crown to emerge from underneath their rocks and come out in the bright light of day. This is but the latest example.

Shame on you for lying.

You may have missed the quote from the article.

Okay, I've looked up info on the Geekz Team and their history. As yet, though, there's no proof that the organizers of the event coordinated with the Team. For all anyone knows AT THIS TIME, the Team snuck in and did their thing on the sly.

Shame on you for lying.

I know this wasn't addressed to me, but Trump publicly defended Neo Nazis and the KKK. Anyone who knows anything about the history of the KKK and Nazis could make a strong argument that that's giving "official permission".

I already showed you, in a previous post, which you confirm you didn't read.

The event organizer didn’t say the video was shown in a private room at the Trump property, he said it was shown “in a side room”. Do you know what a “side room” means?

Go read his statement. I provided it in full for you.

And by saying the conference organizer "may well have seen it," you confirm once again that you never bothered to read his statement.

I’m done responding to your sad comparison attempts.

Another handwave, and another snip of the part of my post you don't want to respond to . . .

That would be, what, his remarks on Charlottesville?

As I said on -- remember, Saturday -- we condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence. It has no place in America.

Yeah, I know, the "both sides" remark is supposed to "trump" all else. But-- no. It does not.

the orange fool is unable to operate an umbrella. i seriously doubt that he can operate a prosthetic semiautomatic handpenis.

The video and the counter posts (Kathi Griffin type) are disgusting. That AmeriCANs are embroiled in this divisiveness is heartbreaking.

If it doesn't stop I fear for our country's future.

If they're not coming after you or your family, and you know they're not, why do you "have" to think about protecting yourself and your family from them?

Dude, when you try to make just about every thread about you personally (nice restraint in not posting a photo of yourself, by the way), then you make it about you. I don't.

Apparently I had the gall, the temerity and the chutzpah to make a personal comment about myself and my family, and that's altogether too much for the poor suffering "filmmaker, lawyer, patriot" Harshaw to bear.

I committed the sin of using the word "I" and he just can't stand that I did so, of course in my never ending effort to "make it about me"...my using the word "I" being more than enough.

If this was a thread about desserts and I said that I liked Ben and Jerry's, Harshaw would be right there in a hot second accusing me of making the thread about ME because I said I like a certain brand of ice cream, one peddled by commie pinko libtards, of course.

Harshaw, would you like it if I sent you a dartboard with my picture on it?
Gimme your mailing address. It's okay if it's a P.O. Box. ;)

By the way, how come we never see your films?

Read this statement;.
“Phillips, the organizer for the event, said in a statement to the Times on Sunday that the clip was played at the conference as part of a "meme exhibit."

You give Trump far, far more credit than he deserves. He’s nothing more than a completely amoral, bigoted moron who appeals to others like him.

Trump's an Evil Nazi Pumpkin!!!

Sociopathic Hitler Squash!!!!

:donkeyfla:

Actually, if you read what he said in context, he did not publicly defend Neo Nazis or the KKK. There is no reasonable argument that can be made to declare he gave permission, official or otherwise for this stupid video, or any other acts by stupid people.

You said Trump gave official permission, and that this year old+ video was the “latest example”.

Shame on you for lying.

Stop being so dense. When Trump described neoNazis as good people he gave the Deplorables official permission. And the video which surfaced over the last day is the latest example.

You don't know lying from a proctology exam.
