Saudi Arabia is the heart of radical Islam! Who was it flew aeroplanes into your tall buildings? 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudis. Bin Laden was a Saudi. They are not your friends.

Troops have been removed from the Middle East. And troops have been sent to Saudi Arabia in response to a recent attack.

fwiw, The troops who were near Turkey have just been re-positioned.
In addition, more troops have been / will be added to the ME in SA.
As such, it seems unlikely that saying troops have been removed from the ME in re the Kurds and Turks is factually accurate.

These facts are unlikely to prevent folks who're emotionally connected to the idea that Trump has pulled troops from the ME when he re-positioned the US troops who were with the Kurds from continuing to spread the lie that Trump pulled troops from the ME.

Nowhere did I say that SA oil refineries should not be protected.

Remember that next time we need a partner willing to give up 10,000 lives while we give up 4 fighting for our National Security Interests. Goons that think they can just build a wall around the country are laughably obtuse. So we will be looking for that sort of alliance again. Good luck getting any fish to bite.

You're so right, conservatives continue to cling to a 19th century view of world politics, alliances and many countries ability to project military power. It's not only a view that ignores the reality of life in the 21st century, it's dangerous as all get out...

What you are trying to say is that he betrays liberal values? I don't see how that is so because he never pretended to be a champion of liberal values. And, he is trying his best to not betray his campaign promises but of course Democrats are trying to do everything in their power to make sure he can't fulfill his campaign promises.

The house voted 354 - 60 rebuking Trump in Syria.


I"m pretty sure many republicans don't like him, either. they held their nose when they voted for him. But, after Syria, the stink is so strong that holding their nose simply won't do the trick like it used to.

There is no country called the Kurds. Turkey invaded Syria. It is up to Syria to defend it's own territory. That's not our job. Let Syria deal with it. Trump was right, yet again. Funny how the left want to get us out of endless wars, unless it is Trump, then endless wars are fine.

There was no country called "the Kurds" when they committed 11,000 of their blood (they have no treasure) to do the deadly work of the US in the fight against ISIS in the country of Syria (there is no country called "the Syrians"). Without the Kurds, we could very well have lost many more of our troops to ISIS in Syria than we have. Now, the ISIS that Trump has proudly claimed has been defeated (after Mattis said it would take 2 yrs to defeat ISIS, Trump repeated what Mattis said then stated in a letter "I captured them in one month"), will likely be reconstituted. Trump didn't even tell our military leaders in time for them to make a planned retreat. Now they face an obstacle-filled withdrawal. In taking unilateral action, that of omnipotence, Trump has strengthened Putin's hand, whom he has always openly admired. That and all else Trump has said, like his love for Kim, you can't get any more openly anti-American than Trump. He will only continue getting worse.

Irrelevant. Turkey invaded Syria. It is up to Syria to defend their own borders. And, Syria is defending their own borders. This isn't rocket science.
