Everyone should watch Richard Engel on assignment tonight.

Incontrovertible evidence is given-- interviews with Ukrainian officials, documents etc., the works, that Trump, and Guiliani are criminals as the president has abused the oath of office and betrayed America

After 30 seconds of this clip there's absolutely no journalistic integrity there's no point watching the entire film not when it starts in the gutter. This is offbeat internet stuff, nowhere near at the level angle operates. But the difference is lost on people like you

Taibbi is wrong. Where he is wrong is the fact that a guy like Trump is betraying AMerica, and should not be allowed to be the nominee, period.


A "coup", get real. USing words like that cheapen it. IN fact, that's what gaslighters do, fog the field, overuse weighty words that once upon a time meant something, until they are meaningless, to disarm the words when they are levied at them. Note how cavalierly Trump tosses out words like "treason", etc. He'll use that word so often that the day when he's charged with it, people won't see it in the light that it was used when it really meant something serious. Trump is a weasel, a master of the weasel word.

I feel sad for Taibbi. If that's how he feels, he is losing it to the overally moderate wishy washy wing. I'm all for moderation, but I agree with Sen Barry Goldwater who said, "Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice", but here, the flip side must be employed, "extremism in the fight against authoritarism is no vice". Taibbi misses the mark.

I haven't seen Taibbi on any of the talk shows in a while, he must be losing his soul to that nether region of the wishy washy.

Doesn't negate what I wrote about Taibbi. What is says about the left is that we do not censor viewpoints, and that is a good thing. I support Taibbi's right to publish and commend RS for publishing it, though, on this point, I disagree.
