6. It wasn’t an isolated incident.

In 2015, a state-backed real estate conglomerate acquired a controlling stake in Rosemont Realty, a sister company of Rosemont Seneca where Hunter served as an advisor. As part of the deal, the Chinese promised $3 billion for commercial office property acquisitions in the US — a major windfall for the company.

It wouldn’t be Hunter’s last episode with Chinese capital. In May 2017, he met with Ye Jianming, chairman of Chinese energy company CEFC, to discuss investment opportunities in the US. After the meeting, Ye sent a 2.8-carat diamond to Hunter along with a “thank you” card. When, six months later, a CEFC executive was arrested in New York on unrelated bribery charges, his first phone call was to Hunter’s uncle, James Biden. James told the New York Times that “he believed it [the call] had been meant for Hunter” and that “he had passed on his nephew’s contact information.”

The message is clear: if you are connected you are above the law. Biden, Inc. is the poster child for what Americans hate about the ruling class. I don’t see how anyone can defend him.

Do you really think Biden's kid is doing, or has done anything "worse" than Trump and his Kids have done and are doing from a business perspective?

I'll approach this debate like a Trumpist. I'll start by ignoring the article, follow up by dismissing it as fake news, and then continue with so what? Finally, I'll cap it off with what about Tweety's multitude of corruption and general scumbaggery.

I like this technique. Saves a ton of time.

If you really believe what you are saying then you should be all in for an investigation into the Bidens financial dealings with Ukraine and China. The Trumps, all of them have been subjected to congressional subpeona on several occassions as have many members of the Trump campaign and administration. Let's see an equally vigorous investigation into the Bidens. While at it lets have an investigation into the recent revelation that Ukraine was the largest contributor to the Clinton Foundation while Hillary was SOS and while she ran for President.

I'm fine with every single person in power being investigated thoroughly.

But start with the top of the pyramid and work down. Start with the person who has the most power and the most to gain or lose.

START WITH POTUS.

By the time you get to Biden's son (who isn't running for elected office so why's it even a topic) I'll probably be dead, and Biden's son will probably be dead too.

Well you should be very happy. The POTUS has spent the past 3 years under investigation by the democrats, in the House, in the Senate, the Mueller investigation and all turned up nothing. Now it's time for the democrat crew to have a turn at being investigated.

In regard to Hunter Biden. If he was party to influence peddling then that is a crime regardless of whether he was running for an office or not.

Not sure, but if anyone knows anything about crooked real estate deals, it's Trump. So maybe he sees something here that the rest of us don't.
