So When Will Pelosi Call the Vote?

Does she have the political courage to do so? I think she will never hold the vote as it will give the Republicans subpoena power. Then the cast of characters from Schiff on down to Pelosi will have to testify under oath. My guess is she lacks the courage to go there.

So, what is your best guess on when she will hold the vote?

Will Schiff release the transcripts? What's he hiding?

There is no need. The committee’s have the power to issue subpoena's and hire staff. In the past they needed a resolution from the entire House. The are no hard and fast regulations for impeachment. Nancy Pelosi can direct the House to handle it any way she sees fit. If and when articles need to be voted on, then that will happen. Voting now is a waste of time. Most Republicans are grateful that there is no vote yet because they want to see what the whole story is, and if it's bad for Trump, they do not want to be tarnished by an initial vote as a Trump defender.

Why should they do anything except let Trump twist in the wind? He's so good at it!

It's not about courage, it's about choosing outcomes.

Until and unless there are sufficient votes in the GOP led Senate to remove him from office, there is little to gain with an impeachment, but that doesn't mean we can't rub his nose in his misdeeds, which have only increased in severity and number. With all the effort he puts into hiding information, I can only imagine what we don't know yet.

Some say it's worthwhile just to get GOP senators to lock in a supporting vote, but I'd rather just beat him on election day and get his time behind us, and a failed impeachment can only aid the bozo.

As far as I know, there's no requirement for a vote until they have articles of impeachment to vote on, and that's entirely up to Pelosi and whoever she let's influence her.

She does not lack the courage. She has bid brag brass balls the size of church bells. What she does not have is enough votes, enough evidence, and enough public support. Democrats should switch from using the donkey to a paper tiger as their party animal. They are all bark and no bite

It's only been a few weeks and we already have a lot more information...keep digging Schiff, you're still on the low-hanging fruit.SDNY just got two Trump guys indicted who were working with Rudy on Ukraine stuff...just wait a few weeks maybe we'll get some more bombshells of corruption.

Let's make this articles of impeachment the biggest in U.S. history, give Trump something factual to brag for a change.

Let Trump stew about how he cannot control a House investigation...keep crying for "due process" Trump, when it's an investigation, not a trial...moron.

Your opinion is appreciated. The House of Representatives have 'sole' Impeachment power as per the Constitution. Unlike what the definition of 'is' is, there is no such confusion with the English word 'sole'

Your first mistake: pretending that this involves 'courage'.

It involves knowing how to get things done, w/in the rules, so that the mobbed-up whore in the White House can't slither out from under it and the courts have her back.

She has played this game forever, knows rules that dwump refuses to learn, and Donnie Moscow is simply too stupid not to fall into her trap.

No, they wouldn't even in a full House vote, as their subpoenas would have to be voted on in the committees, where they would be burned by the Democratic majority, just as the Republicans did on Hyde's committee during the Clinton impeachment.

She has stated multiple times she has the votes in the House. If it is as important as she says that Trump need removed from office, one would think it should be sooner than later. At this juncture, her actions indicate she is not serious about the process, but instead wants to please her radical left peers

She will hold the floor vote as the various committees finish sorting through the merely interesting Trump malfeasances from the truly heinous and Impeachable. There are so many, no wonder it takes 6 committees to even get close to being able to sift them all.

As that process completes and the material is being shuffled off to Judiciary Pelosi will hold the floor vote. She does not have anything to fear in the floor vote. She has the votes if not one single member more joins up. The way this is stacking up if anything the Whip count will be higher than 228, not lower.

I disagree. I think she saw Trump cross the line and felt obligated to do her duty to call for an impeachment inquiry.

Typically, that is done with a vote in the House. Prior precedent was set with Nixon and Clinton doing just that

Now that is a witch hunt! If it wasn't, Barr would not be hanging over Durham's shoulder. Italy....that means Mifsud...Good luck pinning your hopes on that outcome. Before Barr is done he will end up with a good deal of explaining to do.
