8 year old climbs replica border wall

This is what the actual 18' wall looks like:

That little girl will have a hard time sliding around the edge of the anti-climb plates in the real thing.

Also, that 18' wall isn't all she'll have to contend with. If she is somehow able to negotiate the 18' wall, she'll be stuck between that wall and a 30' wall with a bigger anti-climb plate.

If she can't negotiate the wall, then she just needs a $5 shovel to dig a hole and slide her little body under it.

no one said that the wall would keep out everyone....

but if the illegals coming accross go from 500k annually to 30-40k annually....that is a HUGE win

How long will it take her to dig eight feet down...3-4 feet across...and eight feet back up?

Ideally she will then get arrested. A wall is generally pointless without someone to guard it. To enforce its purpose.
 
It is sad that we are sitting here debating the merit of the wall and the ability to get over (or under) it.

The reality is there is still *economic* reason to come to the US, and as such there will be motivation to try to get past the wall in some way.

Not true.

All the 8 year old has to do is climb some kind of replica of a wall in order for it to be proved to the minions that the wall is ineffective.

Two different issues. Congress wont address the economic reasons, but that doesnt remove the duty of the us govt to protect the border.

Yep, the same problem exists with the "war on drugs" - so long as law enforcement efforts largely ignore the demand side of the situation, the supply will continue.

The Great Wall of Trump does nothing about the 12M (to 20M) illegal immigrants already inside the US or the addition of many more who simply overstay a temporary (tourist, student or work) visa. So long so many see immigration (legal or not) as accelerating favorable demographic changes and/or helping to keep labor costs from rising there will be no serious efforts for "immigration reform" in congress.

All the minions have to do is shout "build that wall" without any sort of plan about costs to build and maintain or how to steal American land from landowners to prove it's effective.

But I guess you like fuzzy billion dollar plans and the federal government stealing land from land owners while still not addressing the real reasons illegal immigrants come and live here. :shrug:

Who wouldn't want to get paid under the table and have kids birthed and educated for free while living a reasonable lifestyle that is 20 times better and more safe than where you were living?
