It is 100% false "Christians caused more death than plagues and wars. The Islamic Empire murdered as many as 250 million people. NO ideology is more responsible in known world history that Muslims.

How many wars and violent civil wars are happening in Christian nations compared to Muslim nations? The religion of Islam IS the religion of war and death created by a genocidal mass murdering rapist and pedophile.

But we can 100% agree on something. That no Christian voter (70%+) are welcomed in the Democratic Party and should vote straight Republican for every office in every election as if their family's and their lives depending up it. To understand this they only need participate on this forum.

My favorite Trey Gowdy line ever was "The notion that you can withhold information and documents from Congress no matter whether you are the party in power or not in power is wrong. Respect for the rule of law must mean something, irrespective of the vicissitudes of political cycles". It was captured on video so we can all enjoy it as he fights to withhold information and documents from Congress for Trump.

Due Process.

Your party can try, but it doesn't have the power to erase that Constitutional principle.

You have to remember that Trey Gowdy will be considered an outside counsel. He is not working for the White House, but he will be a resource to go to for advice and a second opinion. That means he won't have access to lots of the information too. The role people are assuming he has is much overstated.

Let's focus on what Gowdy said, and find out if he still believes it applies. I'm sure he doesn't. Like all the Trump fans, what was the case then is no longer the case. Trump before party every time.

Marx believed "religion is the opiate of the masses", I'm not sure that equates to atheism. I believe in God, and I believe that religion whatever brand and whatever good intentions it has in it's beginnings is corrupted, by man, as soon as it's created. I keep a prayer in my heart and try to deal honestly with my fellow man but I haven't been inside a church for worship, weddings and funerals aside, in a very long time and have no need or intention of going to one. But I'm certainly NOT an atheist. For instance.

OK, I was impertinent to appear to equate war and plague to Christianity … alone. But doing a quick search and skim of the results I think it's apparent that religion, with no particular brand more guilty than another, has been a the cause of much death and destruction. I don't see that Muslims are more to blame than Christians or vice versa. There is plenty of evidence that when man starts believing in a peaceful loving god in an organized way we get extremely violent about it. Which is part of the reason I avoid organized religion, of any strip, like the plague it is.

I'm sure we can 100% agree on something. But AbsaByGodLutely NOT that NO Christian (you killed your own argument, 70+ is not NO) is welcomed in the Democratic Party; zero % of that is true. All AmeriCANs need to vote, as if their family's and their own lives depend on it. We are in the situation we are in today, not because thousands of Democrats voted for tRump, but because Millions did not vote at all. All AmeriCANs, that qualify - no matter their political persuasion, need to make their voice heard AND Vote. To understand this they only need to observe what's happening in our Country.

And truth be told, THAT was the point of the Benghazi hearings. Hurt Hillary politically, nothing else. In that respect Gowdy was highly successful. They never intended to actually seek criminal charges.
 
Maybe Trey will be the next Trump lawyer to go to jail. One can hope :)

There are legitimate and illegitimate requests for info. If necessary the courts will have to sort it, out and Trump has some really good lawyers working for him.
