If Trump Did Nothing Wrong, Then Why Is He Blocking His People From Testifying?

The House believes that "oversight" gives them the power to investigate everything Trump until they find something they can get him for. That is not how America works. Same goes for the state level, particularly in New York, where they too believe that you can investigate someone until you find something.

B. The house exercising its legal, constitutional oversight powers IS how America works.

Democrats have been out to get Trump ever since they took over the House. They are obsessed with abusing their power to find something, anything, to get Trump with. Oversight is meant to be oversight, not to be used as a political weapon to take down your opponents.

Having political witch hunt investigations in order to dig up dirt on a political opponent to take them down. Democrats are doing the exact same thing they accuse Trump of doing, politically motivated investigations to influence the election.

A) It is not only easy to demonstrate, it's obvious.
B) The House is abusing a longstanding working agreement for purely partisan reasons. There is no oversight authority to draw on.
C) The rule of law backs the WH. They are the ones being harassed by constant overreaching and inappropriate dmands.
D) Your fantasy is up for a referendum on 2 Nov 2020.

Because when you play their game, you're accepting the premise that the investigation is legitimate. Trump learned his lesson during the Mueller witch hunt, when he fully cooperated.

There is no premise to accept. The investigation is legitimate because Congress said it's legitimate. The Constitution grants them the right to investigate potential abuses of power.

Trump and pathetic Trump cultists such as yourself don't get a vote in the matter.
