Also, that he only got that single $1 million loan from daddy at the beginning, and not that he was a literal trust fund baby, sucking off daddy's teat from the age of single digits until daddy died decades later, $100s of millions in loans, gifts, borderline illegal transfers involving daddy selling Donnie his interests in properties for pennies on the dollar, and including several cases of daddy bailing out Donnie from dumbass mistakes, like that time daddy went to his casino and bought $3.5 million in chips, then took them home without cashing them in, so that Donnie could make a loan payment and not lose the casino? Or the thousands of lawsuits filed against him for shorting contractors for any reason or no reason, just betting that enough of them couldn't or wouldn't fight to get fully paid. Or that time when he threatened to cut off the health insurance of his brother's very sick grandson during an estate fight.

But by all means, let's worry about a claim of NA heritage that no one can show made a difference, or why she left her teaching position 45 years ago.... BOTH SIDES and all that.

I'm not even particularly a Warren fan. By the time I vote the nomination will be over and whoever on the D side who wins that is not-Trump will get my vote. I just cannot believe this is a real thing after living through 3-4 years counting campaigning of the Trump era.

I'm not a fan of Warren's either, and if you asked me 3 years ago would i ever consider supporting her, my answer would be a resounding "no". But on her worst day she is worth 100,000 Donald Trumps.
 
I'm sure pregnant women were fired back in the day. It was considered improper for a woman to work while raising kids.

Feminists rejoice: Women are fighting each other as to who can put their kids into a daycare faster. More time to devote to corporations that way.

You're the one who tried to deflect by talking about the latter, and I completely understand that in light of the fact that you have one "lie" from Warren and over twelve thousand lies from Trump. In your position, I too would want to deflect to literally anything else.

Yes, and when the topic of lying became inconvenient to you due to the fact that Trump has lied over twelve thousand times, you tried deflecting to something else.

If Warren lied (and she didn't), then I'll judge her on that one lie, I'll judge Trump on his twelve thousand lies, and I'll vote accordingly.

Hilarious. You asked me why I didn't think she should be POTUS and I told you. She could be 100% truthful and still a disaster waiting to happen. The thread, however, is about her truthfulness or lack thereof.

Warren did lie. Her 2007 interview confirms it. She left the job to get more education.

I agree. I'm surely not trying to dissuade anyone from voting for whomever they choose. I couldn't, anyway. But I prefer poeple at least vote with their eyes open. There aren't any political saints in these elections.

Trump's a stereotypical salesman on a large scale. I think he has the nation's best interests at heart, but he's ham-fisted. I'm not nearly as concerned about Trump as I am the machinations of some to undo him. And it's not Trump I'm concerned with. I don't want to see the country damaged in the process some have undertaken.

There's nothing more fundamental than lying about who you are for advantages reserved for those who honestly are who they represent themselves to be. You just can't get past that, and you know it.

That's not funny. It's pathetic. It's why stolen valor pisses off veterans so much. I'm not sure I should expect you to understand such things, because they really are fundamental things.

The problem is everyone who's looked into the supposed "advantages" of her claiming NA status say there were NONE. Nobody who hired her even knew about it, and didn't use it as a reason to hire her over someone else. because they didn't know. All she did was be excellent everywhere she went, including at Harvard.

If it was Trump it would be fluffery, like salesmen do, because his entire life story as told by Donald J. Trump is a big, fat, continuous lie, born on home plate, sucked off daddy's teat for decades, but claimed to be self made outside a little $1 million loan, but it's a woman, democrat whose dad was a janitor and she's a scumbag...
