I appreciate all the facts you provide, but it doesn't really matter. Trump supporters will continue to start off with the premise of "Trump is innocent, the Dems are sore losers who can't get over losing the election".

It doesn't matter he clearly violated campaign finance law, something I pointed out in previous posts.

It doesn't matter that he used a foreign country in desperate need of assistance in order to hurt a political opponent.

It doesn't matter that neither Joe Biden or Hunter Biden were under any criminal investigation. Ever.

It doesn't matter that Hunter's company was being investigated for corruption BEFORE he was a board member.

It doesn't matter that Trump is the last person in the world to whine about nepotism and using the presidential to make profits for both children and himself.

Fact: Biden threatened the president of Ukraine that he would hold up $1 billion in promised American support money if he did not fire his own prosecutor handling his own country's internal affairs. Why Biden did that is open to debate.

The case of the diamond prosecutors lays bare the fact that Trump is lying about Biden. Shokin was business partners with the two "diamond prosecutors." They were basically shaking down companies and taking bribes.

Biden firing Shokin was supported by EU, IMF and the real Ukrainians on the street protesting. Trump is a liar when he claims this prosecutor was a good guy forced out because he was looking into Burisma. That's a lie.

Shokin deserved to get fired. Pretty much everybody in the EU said so. Logic says so. Biden joined members of the EU for Shokin to get fired, not the other way around. Now Trumpsters are arguing that Shokin was an honest man. Give me a break.

You cannot logically argue for nepotism being bad, when your own guy does it within the U.S.

But even if Trumpsters are correct about Biden, it still doesn't defend the actions of the President. Campaign finance laws are not subjective. It's ILLEGAL to solicit, bribe, and extract information about a political opponent from a foreign government. If Trump felt Biden was violating our constitution, then he should have went to the FBI and CIA, to look into the matter. The WORST thing he could have done was used foreign aid as leverage against a foreign power and made a secret phone call with a foreign leader.

Guess there was no conflict of interest for Biden in Ukraiine, as Joe says....you believe him? Putting the prosecutor aside, seeing that Joe Biden is an experienced politician, there is no excuse here. And then China....Joe and crooked Hillary were going round the world making millions under the great One, Obama......it's so crooked it's not even funny, and now they are po'ed big time, because Hillary lost.....all their plans thrown into the wind....all those other milliions gone forever. It's disgusting....crooked bastards.

As for there being no excuse for an experienced politician like Biden.

Whether the guy was honest or not is a matter of opinion which does not change the fact that Biden threatened the president of Ukraine with loss if he did not do exactly what he was told to do related to internal matters of his own sovereign country.

Democrats have twisted an illegally leaked government phone call backwards in their efforts to impeach Trump. It is a good thing this does not have to be proven, as democrats remind us, because the democrat misinterpretation of the illegally leaked call is false.

Trump was not primarily after Biden. Trump was after information about who conspired with Ukrainians to create the lies democrat have been promoting about collusion. Trump has multiple rights to go after that info. Biden was only mentioned as another of several rumors connected with corrupt democrat collusion with Ukrainians.

Well, maybe I should go and apply for a job at Burisma....apparently you don't need any experience at all to be on their board of directors. Whew, I surely could use 50k per month. Then there is the ton of money from China dropped in his lap.....to someone wiith no knowledge in investing....somebody get me the phone number to China, as I would be a perfect candidate for this job, also. Oh, wait a minute, his last name is Biden, and his father is the VP of the USA....well, maybe, just maybe that has something to do with all this easy money.....just saying.

The federal statue is pretty clear. The FEC chair even pointed out the rules in a June memo. Trump is blatantly violating them, and you're not going to counter that point. Instead, there's this dance act.

it doesn't make a **** whether Shokin was honest or not, what matters is whether Biden Junior had anything to do with the issue and was the firing in any way because of Biden corruption.

Trump did mention Biden also, but he asked for info on Crowdstrike and the DNC claim that Ukrainians hacked the DNC, which was his primary focus. He had every right to seek to get to the bottom of the Russians conspiracy theory democrats had been yapping about nonstop for 3 years, even after being refuted by Mueller, the US Senate, and 17 intelligence agencies.
