To be fair, it was a high risk mission. You remember Obama as having the biggest accomplishment when it worked. Now remember what happened to Jimmy Carter when the military failed him in the hostage rescue. It's easy to say 'presidents should take big risks'. The American people aren't that understanding when they do. Give Biden credit for honestly admitting what he did after it worked and was popular.

1. Maybe Mr. Brown is right.

a. Secretary Clinton did win the popular vote.

b. Candidate Trump squeezed through by getting a few more votes in three swing states.

c. Those Democrats and Independents who did not vote in 2016 (because EVERYONE scoffed at the idea that Donald J. Trump could possibly win) are still kicking themselves in the rear.


d. Many people really, really, really "dislike" President Trump so they could not care less who the Democratic candidate is. They will turn out in yuge numbers to vote for him/her.

Yes, the Iran rescue fail was bad for Carter. But it wasn't the reason for his dismal performance as President. Nice guy, but as President he was a dud. Obama could have survived a failed Bin Laden raid.
