Trump wins biggest-ever WTO ruling, opening the door for $7.5 billion worth of tariffs on Europe

Well it is certainly interesting that DonDon is trying to destroy the WTO having been pleased with this recent ruling.

It requires a consensus for rulings regarding the Appellate Body of the WTO including appointments to it and Trump has been vetoing the appointment of new members to the Appellate Body for two years now. As a consequence the normal 7 member body is down to the minimum to proceed, 3 members. On Dec 10th, two of those members terms expire and at that point the WTO is effectively blocked from doing anything really.

Now this month on the agenda for WTO is its funding including salary for Appellate Body members.

It should be clear that Trump's intention is to destroy the WTO. It is my experience that those that wish to destroy bodies that are designed to control abuses do it because they desire a free hand to abuse.

Notice that CFPB within our own government has been blocked and curtailed from effective protection for Consumers by Trump and Mulvaney just as an example. So we can look forward to the abuses that went unattended before CFPB was created. MAGA!!!

Well, I guess Trump deserves credit for not ending the suit that was started by Bush and carried on by Obama.
Good job, Trump!
Way to not do something!

The OP wanted a thread title that is a lie.

It's just who Republicans, many Christians, are now.

How is hurting America 'winning', in your opinion? Should I remind you how US farmers feel about Trump's 'winning' strategy as their Chinese markets close to them and their livelihood rots in the field, or remains unsold in warehouses? These are the people feeding you. Watch and learn:

It's called trade justice for the US. Justice for the loss of manufacturing jobs in the US caused by, in the case of the EU, tariffs or trade wars against US goods.

What you call "trade justice" any casual observer might call a Pyrrhic victory. Where are those manufacturers; where are those jobs? They're in China and elsewhere that businesses can make the healthiest profits. That's called sound business practise; maximise profit by minimising production costs. Trump's genius move pretty much guarantees the opposite.

The latest monthly jobs report says that jobs are in an abundance in the US.

Yes, mostly in the service sector (80% of ALL jobs). Where are the manufacturing jobs?

Yes. Where are all the manufacturing jobs? I see, your whataboutism knows no bounds.
Just curious. Do service jobs pay less than manufacturing jobs?

54,000 out of a workforce of 160 million? Real impressive! And wages rose a whopping 1.3%!

Kicks ass on you guys. Besides, 54,000 is the number added, not the total number. I guess your obsession caused you to face plant on that fact.

Look at any chart the only thing that happened when scum bag came into office was a slowdown of the rate of employment. It's all Obama's. I love it the way you people lie and distort.unemplyment.jpg
