Nope. I’m talking about a completely different whistleblower, whose claims have gotten significantly less attention but could prove no less consequential. This whistleblower alleges a whole different category of impropriety: that someone has been secretly meddling with the Internal Revenue Service’s audit of the president.

As the Dems keep their focus narrow and away from anything Mueller, this inquiry, regardless of the result will damage Trump

The Republicans are out with the chaff and BS, but it is falling apart.

Barr as AG going to Italy drops the facade of his impartiality.

"Hey, Ukraine, take a look at this thing Biden keeps going around bragging about" is not the same thing as, "Hey, John Dean, let's blow up the Brookings Institute in case they have some dirt in their safe."

And so far as I can tell, the Democrats are the only ones trying to use the IRS for political advantage they are so thirsty for Trump's tax returns. Even California is conspiring to keep him off the ballot if they don't get them.

I agree the democrats should keep their focus narrow. They have so poisoned their own well since November 2016, there is not much chance anybody will see this as anything but yet another sour grapes moment. The wider they go on their fishing expedition, the more obvious it will be.

Even if this was the 29th time Democrats were screaming for Trumps head on a platter via Impeachment with every attempt failing miserably with mountains of fake claims coming to light, they will never get a conviction based on what they think happened or what they think Trumps motives are.

Their is no quid pro quo, Schiff's opening statement never happened, two of the WB claims have already been determined as knowingly false, and running for president doesn't give you some automatic immunity for past criminal activities.

Its just another bogus s**t show that is going to fissile out with some other claim two weeks from now as per usual.

3 failed attempts to get a house vote to Impeach and this time didn't even go through proper protocol to even get a house vote for Congress to have an Impeachment Inquiry.

I guess if you know you can't get the vote you just decide not to have it.

Pretty embarrassing but when its all ya got, its all ya got.
 
Not surprising.
It could be someone trying to open the door for getting them, or it could be legitimate. Until there is more information I think all we can do is wait.
Unfortunately Trump supporters didn't push for his tax returns, and we didn't' make it a law. We really don't even seem to ensure that POTUS can pass a top secret background check...it seems to be a hole in our system.

I do hope we get both Trumps tax returns out into congressional hands, as well as his communications with Putin...two areas that I do not feel comfortable having POTUS in office with if he survives impeachment.

Well then, heres another news flash for ya. Ole San Fran Nan didn't hold a vote in the House to even have an Impeachment Inquiry. With the 3 prior Impeachment request all voted out I guess she knew she wasn't going to get that vote so she just came on TV and made her little announcement like it meant something. I guess it did to those who don't know any better.

It was not an official inquiry. Jerry Nadler had started investigating, but it only became official last week, when Pelosi became involved. The doors now open to other investigative avenues, to prove some of the claims you listed. Nice to see how you threw a lot of foolishness in there, to divert away from things that actually happened. Not that I am surprised to see that kind of dishonesty coming from the right. Dear Leader has taught you the art of deflection quite well.

Yeah, right. I guess we're just going to overlook the dozens of fake claims from loony Democrats thus far that you couldn't even address.

I guess we are just going to overlook the fact that San Fran Nan didn't do anything to make anything official. If she wanted to make it official she would have taken a vote from the House like protocol states and offered an OFFICIAL Impeachment Inquiry request to Congress. All she did was agree.
