Murphy said on MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Reports, “These Senate Republicans, should the Democrats vote impeachment which is far more likely than not, are going to be pinned down to a yes/no answer.

If they provide cover to Donald Trump for this, a clear violation of his role as president, we’re going to lose Colorado with Cory Gardner, we’re going to lose Maine with Susan Collins, we’re going to lose Arizona with McSally and the Democrats will put the senate very much in play.

The politics of it will get worse and worse for Trump. Maybe that will motivate him going forward. Romney’s right, more facts. One Republican senator told me if it was a secret vote, 30 Republican senators would vote to impeach Trump.”


Mike Murphy also noted that the Ukraine scandal has changed the political conventional wisdom on impeachment. It was formerly believed that Trump impeachment would help Republicans, but the Ukraine case is so easy to understand and cut and dry that if Republicans give Trump cover on this, it could cost them their seats.

All sinners will do the wrong thing if sufficient motivation is there. What do traitors need to overthrow Trump, the US Constitution and the US government? Sadly, just a bunch of money most of the time. Otherwise secret spy information gathered by democrat rogues in the INS can help keep republicans in line if used by the democrat crooks as bribery or intimidation.

Trump has not drained the swamp. It looks like Jesus will have to do it Himself when He returns to earth to rid the earth of the wicked.
 
If they would admit to voting to impeach if the vote was secret, then, is it really a secret? :confused:
 
It seems to be happening pretty fast. But then, if they have enough irrefutable evidence then all they really need to impeach are the votes.

After so many failures in the past, including Russia-Russia-Russia, Stormy Daniels, decades old youthful banter, not adding the way democrats add when estimating crowd sizes, saying disrespectful things about Mueller and his misguided lawless team of Hillary attack dogs, and so forth, now they supposedly finally have what they want.

Some unknow partisan hack is claiming Trump said something out of line in a secret conversation the whistleblower did not actually hear but who was supposedly told of the secret call by a seditious lawbreaking leaker. That's it! Oh Hallelujah for democrats. Some unknown whistleblower with secondhand hearsay info will bring Trump down by testifying in secret to partisan Trump haters in Congress so they can claim the secret info is grounds for impeachment.

And Trump is drawing a lot smaller Florida crowds than he was in 2016....

We already know the whistleblower is a partisan hack who did not actually hear the conversation between Trump and the Ukraine. But he is a democrat which is why Schitff and crowd want him to come try to bring Trump down to benefit democrats in 2016.

What is believable is 30 Democratic House members voting against impeachment if it ever comes to the floor. They all have to run for election in districts Trump won in 2016.

We already know what was said in the call by both parties. We saw the President of Ukraine dismissively joking about the leftist's reaction to the call when he and Trump appeared in front of the press yesterday.

What are you talking about? What is the source of the picture you posted and what is that picture supposed to depict?

If you are at all interested in what actually happened during the phone call, here is the "memorialization" of the call which is the normal and usual way to record these things.

Of course, this was not smuggled out of the White House in Sandy Berger's socks or leaked to Jim Comey's co-conspirator, so maybe you'll need something less official and more partisan.

Give me proof of this. Because as far as I know, the WB's name has not been released. Moreover, you cannot prove bias, so seriously, spare us the hyperventilating.
