What Elizabeth Warren Is Doing Is Working

In a new poll, the Massachusetts senator doesn't overtake Joe Biden as the race's overall leader. But more voters are saying they're enthusiastic about her candidacy.

In addition to the standard who-would-you-pick-if-the-election-were-today question, the pollsters attempted to measure the relative strength of these preferences, too. Warren now commands the greatest percentage of Democratic primary voters—35 percent—who describe themselves as "enthusiastic" about her prospective general election candidacy. Just 25 percent and 23 percent of respondents said so about Biden and Sanders, respectively. These positions are a near-mirror image of survey results from six months ago, when 33 percent of voters were enthusiastic about Biden, compared to just 20 percent who felt the same way about Warren.

Still a long way to go in the race, but at this point you may be correct, too many look at Biden as being too old and Bernie being a nutty professor, and her being a woman will not hurt her chances of getting the nomination. My guess is that if she gets the nomination she will beat trump easily, far too many voters dislike trump for many reasons. That said the important question is whether or not the Dems can win the Senate which changes whether or not a Dem President would have Congress backing their policies.

No, this one is higher. In addition, Warren does not have the baggage that Hillary brought (Bill and corruption). Trump will not be able to say "crooked Warren" as he did with Hillary. The best he can say is "Pocahontas Looms"!

Warren is not my first choice. She should have run in 2016 like Bernie Sanders urged her to. She decided not to, so Bernie decided to do it himself and proved more effective in furthering the progressive agenda.

That said, I'll take Warren any day. She's actually GOOD on policy and agenda, not less bad than Donald Trump. She would have most of Bernie's supporters, and most of the Biden's supporters. A good compromise candidate.

She's lied about her ethnic status to get a leg up on those who actually deserved the privilege. Including on TX state bar membership card.
Did Sen. Elizabeth Warren Describe Her Race as 'American Indian' on Her 1986 Texas Bar Card?


Plus she's a wanna-be Commie. Let's hope our country has more sense.
 
I think she will be the nominee, but I am not convinced she will win the Presidential race.

Everyone except Mother Teresa has baggage but Warren's baggage doesn't even come up to the ankles of Hillary's baggage. Trump will be mostly laughed at when he tries to attack Liz like he attacked Hillary, especially when she can shoot back (and will shoot back) with what Trump has done during his presidency.

How can you defend ripping children from their mothers without keeping track of where they are sent so they can reunite in the future with "she accepted $100,000 in legal fees to defend Travelers against the danger of Asbestos", or when she is accused of lying about her American Indian heritage when Trump is now on his +12,000 lies.

Her baggage doesn't even begin to compare with Trump. It is like 1 pound overweight versus 1000 pounds overweight when traveling.

Trump has lied so much that anyone who tries to nail her on that without also nailing Trump to the wall for the thousands of things he’s misrepresented or flat lied about will be laughed out of the room.

Hillary likely lost because of one word. Warren carries a whole dictionary.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch. I'll vote for Warren in a heartbeat if she gets the nomination, but Trump, Russia, the Republicans, internet trolls, etc. are going to do everything they can get away with to tear down our candidate.

We had better be ready for a level of scum and villainy as we have never seen before.

Key word is "invent". The problem they will have is that Warren has a clear and specific plan of action that she has been pushing for years that will help her greatly. As far as smearing, the Trump people now have a huge problem is that with what they have done themselves in the past 3 years is so much that smearing anyone will no longer work as smearing them is now easy and huge.

I can only reply with 2 things to your post:

1) Trump has never apologized for any of his +12000 lies
2) Warren has a dictionary of negatives? I checked and checked, and checked some more and the most I could come up in her entire life is a total of about 5 things and they are all minor, especially when compared to Trump.
