I think we should rephrase that. Essentially, Republicans don't know what corruption is anymore, thanks to Trump. Seriously, I tried to have a conversation about what they think corruption is with some Trump supporters IRL, and they didn't get that all this **** he does is corruption.

What a poorly put together "analysis" piece. The author is trying to connect two likely disparate stories about the helicopter service and the Air Force staying at Trump's facility.

Investigate why the amount spent at the hotel by the government, that is reasonable. Investigate the amount spent during the Obama administration and compare the usage. The argument against Trump would be much more solid if there was no usage prior to his administration.

The question that needs to be asked in the short term is why the Air Force stuck the taxpayers with a $184,000 bill for fun and games at a golf resort. These are the people Americans are supposed to revere as “heroes” for not doing much of anything other than spending our money.

Nothing about Trump nor Obama staying at the resort was mentioned in the story, did you see something that addressed that?

I saw nothing in either story to indicate that they were there for fun and games. It could be that Scotland is along the great circle route between Europe/Middle East and the US and that Scotland was along the way. If the location was out of the way, then I presume that it was out of the way during each administration.

So then why ask if the government was renting out this helicopter from Trump's golf resort during the Obama administration? It's obvious that they didn't do this then, but that is what they did when Trump was President. Does Obama have a helicopter rental service we don't know about and only you do?
 
This is just another example that lying is the number #1 tactic of the Democratic Party - because it is the tactic the super rich use for the MSM, press and Internet propaganda outlets.

IN FACT, the Air Force has used that same airport HUNDREDS of times before Trump was even president.

Figure EVERYTHING on CNN, MSNBC, and NYT about Trump is ALWAYS a deliberate calculated lie. They tell these deliberate lies as that is the way to force their lackies (ie most Democrats) to accept blind loyalty. If you can get a weak personal cult member (ie most Democrats) to defend enough outright lies they will become totally committed and would walk off a cliff if told to. That is who most progressive Democrats have become - mindless submissive zombies doing, thinking, feeling, saying exact as ordered.

It isn't just non-stop outright open lies - but they are deliberately transparent lies to hook the weakest personality Democrats with well proven religious and political cult techniques.

Joe Biden even admitted it, declaring Democrats will no longer accept "facts." Of course, since nearly everything any Democrat politician and all the propaganda outlets say are outright lies - and most Democrats on this forum dutifully rush to the form to rant, sob and sneer those lies, there really is not much "debate" even possible.

I asked no such thing, I specifically said that the "analyst" was interjecting the failure of the helicopter service into the story about the Air Force use of the resort.

The point I did make was that the Air Force also spent money at the resort during the Obama administration. That at least tells me that the facility has a history of government use. I have no knowledge of whether those expenses over the last 4+ years is a legitimate government expense which I would agree.

There is no reason why they should be stopping in Scotland. Air Force flights are diverting from their normal routes to refuel in Scotland and racking up huge bills at Trump’s golf resort while there. That is why the House is investigating.
