We've got young adults from Canada, Sweden, Germany, etc all pledging to not have children unless their countries take serious action on climate change. LOL. I mean we're talking about Canada, Sweden, Germany, and other tree hugger countries who were part of the Paris Accord. What in the hell is it these people want? I am personally glad that these idiots aren't going to be passing on their DNA. Let their breed die out.

Well if you actually read the article you posted, you might get an idea of what some of these kids want.

Lim writes that she always imagined herself being a mother someday. She says she loves children so much she has worked as a nanny. But she is concerned about the world she would be bringing her children into.

Those countries will no doubt take action on climate change. Places like Mexico, Brazil, and the United States may not. The end result of that will be continued climate change, perhaps to the point that even US "conservatives" will have to admit it's real. Of course, by then, it will be too late to do much about it. We're just going to have to live with climate change, sorry.

Why should they have kids? They're expensive as all hell and thanks to this ****ty country there is no medical coverage in place for everyone, and no one gets paid leave to build a family.

The sole incentive is to work.

So why should they have kids?

Canada will just take in more immigrants, generally from Asia. I will have to spend less on school taxes, while still having a large workforce to pay for my CPP (SS equivalent) A plus plus for me

Birth rates are falling all across the western world irrespective of climate change. With a high standard of living, children simply become an expense that never pays itself off.

It's interesting how people South of the border can afford to have multiple kids on less than $500 per month, but here in the US they can't manage one kid on $2,000 per month. Where there's a will there's a way. I wonder how long it will be until SPANISH is the official language.

It's because the cost of living is much cheaper south of the border. And the standard of living much lower as well.
