Canididate's Statement:

1. 100% Pro Life
2. 100 % Second Amendment
3. Lower Taxes
4. Cut Government Spending
5. Grow Business
6. Infrastructure
7. Strengthen Education

All these are "General Spin Item" listed on Candidate's Brochure

My Question for Him:

1.
[COLOR="#000080"If you do stand on not considering any choice? Do you propose to create an Adoption Assistance Fund, that helps those who may need help financially and through program and services ? Do you have a plan to fund "Programs for "Foster Care For Newborns" who are not yet adopted? Do you have any plan to "fund any child care facilities for mothers who are denied the options to abort"? Do you have a plan to help her get educated and skill trained if she is in need of those assistance services.[/COLOR]

2.
Do you have any plan to create any classification for "Assault Weapons", be it under some manner of "designated certification as a target use only weapon" ? Because it’s certainly it not for seasonal hunting game. Do you have a perspective for classing handguns as being for personal protect, with "limited capacity magazines", Do you have any plan for " Classifying weapons which fit the class of "hunting weapons" ?
Do you have any plan to Address Weapon Manufactures- regarding what type of products they produce for the public consumption?

3.
cities, states and this nation "does not grow without taxes". Up until mid 1960's are you of the awareness that "tax dollar went mostly to areas during segregation that built up communities that were not equal to having tax dollars spent on minority community and working poor white communities, and this resulted to "keep the middle class taxes low, while they gained the benefits of tax dollars investment in their community, BUT... the minority and working poor whites saw their tax money not directed to their benefit in their community. NOW... that it requires "HIGHER TAXES" TO SERVE ALL COMMUNITIES... why is the issue NOW.. Always about "cutting taxes".

4.
Government Spending, I'd challenge you to take a deep look at Government Contracts and who incessantly pursues them. It is often the University Graduate, the Professionals, the Business and Industry... but when people talk about "Cut Government Spending" they are Specifically Talking about Safety Net Programs.

Blacks @ (13%) of a population of 300,000,000 people in U.S = 39,000,000 / 56.1 percent who live on 80 of their income from social security of 39,000,000 people = *24,960,000 people.

Whites @ (70%) of a population of 300,000,000 people in U.S. = 210,000,000 / 56 percent who live on 80 of their income from social security of 210,000,000 people = *117,600,000 people.

Hispanic @ (15%) of a population of 300,000,000 people in U.S. = 45,000,000 / 53 percent who live on 80 of their income from social security of 45,000,000 people = *23,850,000] people.

RESULT: *92,640,000* = MORE white people than Black people live on 80 of their income from Public Services of various sorts

Result: *93,750,000 = MORE white people than Hispanic people live on 80 of their income from Public Services of various sorts

Combined Hispanic and Blacks 48,810,000

RESULT: 68,790,000 = MORE white people than Black and Hispanic combined together, live on 80 of their income from Public Services of various sorts.

So, who do you think will suffer from cuts - Answer: "All of Society Will Suffer"

5.
We can't attract the high level jobs, UNTIL we become a region "NOTED" FOR HIGHLY SKILLED PEOPLE, So how do you propose to improve "Skill Training in the Region and the State"? College is basically "unaffordable to the average wage rate in this city" because the Median Wage Does not Reflect the Full Cross Sectional Wage of the Region.
What Type of Skill Training Can be Developed where Young People can enter a program and between the value of a Pell Grant can provide that training to them with an out of pocket cost that does not exceed $5000. (This is the type of things that increase the Skill Level in the Area, and that is what improves Job Growth in the Area and Attract Jobs to come to the Area).

I don't bother with them. I have better things to waste my time on than some vacuous politician, grinning at me like an evangelist selling god.

I tell them these three things, whenever someone random knocks on my door.

1. If you're religious, I am an atheist, and I will not be converted.

2. If you're a politician, I don't care to hear you, I will read your record for myself.

3. If you're selling girlscout cookies, do you have any Caramel Delights?

6
What is the average cost of street maintenance in the city, and the region you are campaigning for?

7.
Strengthen Education, How are you going to do that, when it's influenced at the state level, based on a test score grade system? And that system is based on "Rote Memorization" that totally disregard the principles American Education was built upon, which is "the student being able to ask: WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, AND WHY. Today, based on the State Level Grade Measure Game, if a Student ask those question, they are considered as "disrupting the class" and "distracting from the class programmed schedule, that is directed to produce a "test score", and that score is often not based on what they have learned, but what "Rote Memorization" has trained them to regurgitate, and they are lost when it comes to comprehension of what has been embedded via the Focus on Memorization of single point, answers.

It is quite likely, I will get nothing more than a Form Letter as a response; I feel for the young person who was knocking on doors, because they really had no idea of what was behind the basic campaign statement of the person they were walking the community for.

Additional Questions I sent to the Candidate:

How many Young People between 18-28 are "without skills" ?
What Programming Do you have or support for improving the Lives of Senior Citizens?
How do you address persons who are in need of Rehab Care and long Term Care?
How many Homeless is in the Region you are campaigning For?
How many Disabled People are in need of programming in the Region you are campaigning for?
How does Hospitals in the Region function without pursuing to develop a Care Coverage Plan for City Citizens?
Do you support "HUD" standards for what is considered a “habitable homes"?
Do you have a plan to "crack down from a state level on "Slum Lords”?

People need to ask these people question that matter to what becomes of people and communities. Not get caught up in the "generic spin" to these bland statements.

There was "absolutely no detailed information about any of these things on his website.... Yet, he posted a picture of his wife and kids...

People must realize:

It's not a personality contest, and it’s not a popularity fest, and people need to get past the monetary claims of a candidate personal economic status. This is about people's lives.. They should not take it lightly as to who is seeking to be a "Decision Maker" in our governing system, who will make decisions that WILL impact YOUR future.

Another Candidates Brochure, talked about what jobs he had in high school, and how he and his wife each owned a business, and how many city awards he won for Entrepreneurship, what Church he goes to, and listed other Commercial Establishment Jobs he has previously had.

They forget... It's about "ISSUES AND POLICIES" !!!!!

People should pursue to know what the heck these people "really think" ? Not how their picture looks, or drama spin... and certainly not about their attack of another canididate. Anyone can attack anyone's stand... But what matters is "What does the Candidate Himself/Herself Truly Believe.

One is on TV talking about his support for Trump, and starts off talking about "cutting taxes for business"... "cutting spending" and follows up attacking the Incumbent who actually "dug the state out of a mess" and created a Budget Surplus, ensured that Senior were not kicked out of rehab and care facilities and young people were not stripped of educational assistance.

People really need to listen and think... not just about yourself, but look at your community, look in your own "extended family" and face the truths of what people truly need to improve their lives.

I ask them nothing, I generally know what I need to about a candidate long before someone knocks on the door trying to pimp that candidate.

I don’t answer the door. There’s nothing I want or need from random strangers who ring my doorbell.

Always get the cookies up front. I had a little girl and her dad, she was dress in uniform and everything, going door to door to sell cookies, and they'd deliver them all next week. I gave her cash and never got any cookies.

I talk to people, and people in my workplace, black, white and other ethnicities... and their daily concerns all have a common thread... They are trying to raise their kids and hope the kids are not attacked at school, they care that they can get their kids skill training, they care that pension plans are not destroyed, they care their job is not outsourced, they care about their access to affordable health care, and they care about the cost of food and fuel.

I know many people who work "two jobs", but can't afford a modest home. They work, they save and their plan ends up being "years ahead, with a hope they can one day own a home, they drive cars that does not cost them half their paycheck, and they wonder why pay has not increased, but Co-pays for medical have increased. Some do jobs where they can't afford to buy the basic insurance, and many can't afford to buy long term care insurance, or disability insurance.

These things are REAL in the lives of people.

People see cities struggling with low manpower where it cannot staff in volume to truly provide "high quality mainetance", but they see quick and immediate response to areas where, people have high net worth.

People see and know that Water and Sewer lines are more than 60-70-80 yrs or older.... People have homes "not expensive home" but they can't afford the maintenance to paint it, and sad as it may be, some can't afford to patch up a broken driveway.

We see cities across the nation being eaten alive by "Cable and Internet Providers" ... adding "fee's and claiming that the fee's increase every three months or so.... yet, they run "incessant string of commercials" making high profit, and the people are paying higher fee's and higher service cost, to watch more commercials.

These things matter to people.

We see a situation like Saudi... and before the flames even ignite they are talking about "raising fuel cost"... when the loss has not impacted the fuel already in the supply chain.

Yet, none of this stuff matters to Politicians... they gloss right over it.

people like Betsy DeVos is interjecting here religious ideals in the Department of Education and diverting money in every direction she can to pay for wealthy peoples kids to go to private school, and have absolutely no concern for "increasing student debt".

We have places trying to do right with its citizens, like New Mexico has made a positive stand, to provide "Education via State Colleges" to its citizens,
then we have the ignorance of Trump, Attacking California for trying to protect its environment with emission control, and people like Trump is worried about how many more cars can be produced quickly that has no regard for emissions and fuel economy.

We have cities that expand with the homeless living on sidewalks... but no politician is trying to pass the "vagrancy laws", and stop people from setting up home on sidewalks. Public Spaces is not "living spaces" PERIOD!!!!

No one should be allowed to set up makeshift home on any city street in this country. Yet, we allow it and don't push politician to pass Federal Bills that States must abide that "ban's living on Public Streets in makeshift living situations.

Then... there's "gun violence" .. whether its a lone nut, group or gangs.... and we have no politicians who want to create a "Domestic Terrorist Bill". Why can't we require some type of permit for "every gun".... its does not have to be a concealed carry permit, but a Gun Owners Permit. We can't have a car without license plates, and we can't drive it without drivers license, and we can't operate it on streets without and inspection sticker, and it has a annual registration fee... but we can't step up and require a "gun owner permit". Geez!!!
Why can't we mandate that "no citizen to citizen gun sales' EXCEPT through an "Established Exchange, where people can do so through licensed business, that record and document the exchange and ensure it is only exchanged from one "person with a permit to own" to another who has a permit to own.
And set up a yearly registration fee... just like we have for vehicles.

Never steal someone's cookies! This is barbaric!

Yea. The next time I bought girl scout cookies I told her point blank "You hand me the cookies, I hand you the money at the same time. No funny business!"

I was at a store, and upon leaving was approached by a two young boys doing fund raising, I almost refused, but went ahead and paid $10 for what is likely a $2 bag of carmel corn, but I did so only because it was a "boy scout group" and they were uniformed, and they have authorization to set up at the store. They wanted $20 for a box with a few bags of unpopped popcorn...

heck when I grew up, the "chocolate candy bar" for fund raising cost .50¢ and it was nearly twice the size of the ones they now want $2 for.

I have a sign on my door "No Solicitations". I ask if they can read.

OMG, seriously??

I just smile, accept the printed propaganda brochures they hand me and nod my head. That's sort of what I do when a couple of Jehovah Witness knock at the door. A political debate/discussion at the front door is not even slightly logical. People have been debating politics here for years. Has anyone changed their minds to your way of thinking? Why would anyone think they can change the mind of a door-to-door political canvasser in a few minutes?

lol, did you brandish a shotgun and whiskey while doing this?

I don't like the idea of people hanging campaign material on my front door... and certainly not doing so while I'm at work... I don't need what amounts to nothing more than a "come burgluraize me symbol, placed on my door, indicating that I'm not home".

These people don't think... I don't know what they pay them for walking communities, but if you don't get a response, don't leave stuff hanging on peoples door.

I Turn the Channel... when Political Ad's Come on... I read!!! I know how to look up any Policy that anyone claims they promote or oppose.
I know how to look up any "Issue' that anyone claims they promote of oppose. and I know how to look up people who are running for office.

I value my "Vote" and "drama games won't get it. I don't care about pictures of candidatures family, the family is not who is making decision, its the person who is pursuing office.
Heck, many of these people are in divorce court before you know it, and there is nothing that tells me their kids character, and a picture of people in a Posed Smile... is not going to sway me... and I don't care how a man's wife rates on a beauty or sexy scale.

ONLY "WE" the people can stand against this, as "individuals"... because our "vote" is an individual choice. We don't just go in the store and pick up what has a pretty picture on the package, we need to read the 'ingredients" and know what it means.

You're lost, right? Okay. If you keep heading south, take left turns and you'll eventually end up on 220. If you head north, take right turns, and you'll eventually end up on 220. There are exceptions. For example, if you go south about four miles and take that right, you'll be heading toward Cahas mountain. This is good because in short order you'll see Chaos (yes) Mountain Brewery, which has a tap room. You're welcome.

Politicians don't care that in the late 1940's, 1950's and 1960's that Corporate Tax Rates were High... and with those high taxes, corporations paid union wages, they contributed to benefits and they contributed to pension plans, and they had concern about buying local ... and they made massive profits that expanded business across the nation.

Now they pay lower taxes, no benefits, no pension plan and don't contribute to the community... and their profits soar.... but cities decline, families are struggling, many can't afford a home and those who have homes can't keep them maintained, and business, buy and destroy competition and then encumber themselves with debt, and risk the lively hood of the employees and wreak havoc on cities, the same cities that invested in infrastructure to help the build their plants....

I say NO TO CUTTING CORPORATE TAXES... if they want their taxes reduced, "do it the way it was done" ... you get tax credit for the benefits you provide to employees, you get tax credit for reinvesting in the business, you get tax credits for investing in the community, and you get tax credits for responsible management.

You DO NOT get tax credits on the debt of any company you buy.... you chose to buy it, you should be able to afford it, you do not get to write off the debt of a company you acquired. There is a Tax Penalty, if you destroy the company you bought within 5 yrs, and you get a Tax penalty if the lay off is more than 2% of the workforce of the company you bought.

You get no write off on interest paid on borrowed money to buy another company. Any company that outsources more than 30% of the product development of the components they see, will be get a tax penalty imposed for every % point above that. If a company buys foreign more than 30 of components from foreign producers when National American producers have available products they get a tax penalty for every % above that.

Any company that outsources it operations is hit with automatic 30% tax penalty of anything they try and ship back to America from the company they outsourced, if An American company buys a foreign company to produce its products or components, it will be hit with 30% duty to bring that to America Soil, if they price gouge, they are hit with 50% duty.

We can fix out problems... because no country should import more than 40% of what their citizens consume... That means 60% is produced on a country's on soil for its citizens. 40% Exports is a huge %... and companies can survive on that and prosper, and they won't be creating cheap low quality goods, it will demand they make quality goods if they expect to compete globally with each other. then we won't be wasting resource make cheap crap, and filling our landfills and landscape with cheap crap. I bet them, they will focus on service and making "repairable goods" and re-state the replacement parts aspects of how business initially grew. This "disposable crap" is damaging lives, environment, wasting resources and costing citizens to repeatedly buy cheap crap.

Bulk Natural Resources should be bought "Government to Government" and manufactures who use these resources buy them through a Government Exchange from its own country from its own government. ( Then we won't be in other countries wasting money and creating wars for resources and playing games with other countries political politics)...

Create MANDATORY Term Limits for "ALL POLITICAL POSITIONS"..... 2 terms MAXIMUM....

Any Politician, has to disclose their tax return for 5 yrs after they leave office... this gives us some assurance to check whether or not the sold policy for personal profit... Every Politician has to present no less than 5 yrs pervious tax return....

Then we institute- Government(s) City, County, State and Federal Campaign Funding to be eligible ... a person must have no less than 5 yrs, in some Government Administration, Public Service, Non Profit Community Service Programs, and have at least a track record that identifies a commitment to public services. Create Citizen Panels, where Lobbyist Must Submit their proposals, NEVER DIRECTLY to any Candidate or Office Holder.

I send them across the road and time how long it takes for them to escape from my long-winded neighbor and his political rantings. If it takes longer than 20 minutes, they are just another politician. If it takes more than 30 minutes, they aren't worth voting for. Ten minutes or less and I give them an A for time management.

OMG, seriously??

Yep. My buddy up at work brought me some boxes of cookies and told me I get them free if I'd just quit bitching about a little girl stealing my money, lol. It really chapped my ass. But it was my own stupid fault. I didn't get her troop number, her or her dads name etc. and she wasn't in uniform so she might not have even been a girl scout. They were either 4 or 5 bucks a box back then and I paid for 4 so she probably got 20 out of me, and no telling how much off the rest of the neighborhood, lol.

Political Brochure
The game of gimmicks is endless... the profit game of "Political Campaigning" is enormous.... It's not a lot of people who can or will ... go beyond being captivated by such material, bumper stickers, buttons and "attack someone ads"...

Here is the link to information for people who want to be "Informed Voters" 2019 Federal Register

For Local State Information: Go to your Secretary of State Website, Your State Legislature Website, and State General Assembly Website.... you can find out the "truth" of what is in a bill, what is the underpinning elements of legislation, and find out information from your State's Information web pages as to what people voted on, and who voted for and who voted against something and then seek out "why" they voted as they did.

No need to waste a vote with "guessing"... or "chasing some emotional fictions"...

Even people who stand against Universal Health Care... they only stand against it when they don't have a current and present medical conditions... But let that same person have a family member, or a husband or wife who gets a major medical situations or , i.e. Son or daughter who develops a medical condition, or their grand-kids develop a medical condition... then you can be your last penny, they will want to find some means to get access to some 'State or Federal Medical Assistance and in many cases they will pursue State and Federal Program services.

Let some of the greedy people in the financial system crash something and wipe out the 401k, or stocks crash, or a company turns their pension over to the Pension Guarantee Company, and it only pays 1/3 of what you would have otherwise received... Only then do people "awaken" and realize the work that Government does to try and protect people... They won't cray about wanting "less government" they will stand and back and support "more development and more enforcement of Regulatory Governance.

Let the Politicains screw up Social Security, call for a Reduction of Benefits... and let's see how many people will willingly give up a % of their benefits.

Let's say you have $50k to maybe even $3-4-500k saved up, and you mate has a major illness and your insurance won't cover the cost, and it will cost you $350k to have the procedure and after care hits you for another $100k... and then there's long term care cost for health maintenance after a Major procedures.... You can't get Medicaid, because you have more than $2000 in liquid assets. What will you then support?

People don't think things through... or you go into long term care and they jack up the cost to consume your entire Social Security, and a big portion of your pension, and allocate you the standard $35 a month for quality of living expense. How will you accept that. Maybe some people should go price, Independent Living in a Managed Care Facility, or even Rehab Care in a Facility....

Or the doctor prescribes some drug that an insidiously high price tag... and you can only afford what might equal, 30 minutes of one day worth of the drug.

Love is more powerful than money, and Love is more powerful than Political Party Devotion, and Love is more powerful than "drama inflated ego games".... So, when such types of realities of such things discussed above happen within your family or "to YOU", or the One YOU love.... Let's see how quick you are to then support a Candidate of Political Party that fights against "Universal Health Care"...

People ignore this stuff because for some it has not happen to them YET!!!

But they fail to realize, it could be something as simple as a slip and fall, that brings you down to need care you never thought you would, it could be a person texting on their phone and broadsides your vehicle... or you could be the victim of a random gunshot....while driving past a location, or as some have found, a mosquito bites you and you are hospitalized for a few weeks, and the bills comes... and your life is "devastated financially, at just the thought of the high cost...

I bet then, people won't be so overly cult devoted to a Political Party, especially one that fights against health care and universal health coverage.

That's just sick. Was it the man's con and he was using the girl to advance it? Creepy as hell.

They looked innocent enough. It could have been an honest mix up. I don't know. The girl might have been 10ish. And she knocked on the door while the dad was out by the street probably 50 feet away. So I don't really even remember what he looked like. I kinda forgot about it for two weeks or so and then started thinking "damn I never got my cookies last week!" Lol.
