A high-school pal of Brett Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford says in a new book that she’s skeptical of Ford’s claim the Supreme Court justice sexually assaulted her at a party in the 1980s.

“I don’t have any confidence in the story,” Leland Keyser — who Ford has said was at the party where the alleged assault occurred — told two New York Times reporters in their book “The Education of Brett Kavanaugh: An Investigation.”

“Those facts together I don’t recollect, and it just didn’t make any sense,” Keyser insisted of Ford’s account, according to authors Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly.

Christine Blasey Ford’s friend now says she’s skeptical of Kavanaugh accusation

Good for Leland Keyser for speaking up and setting the record straight. She's confirmed for me that Ford manufactured this story for a political agenda.

She has also clarified that she does not know Kavanaugh.
I'm betting Ford doesn't know him either. ;)

I really hope that Christine Blasey Ford is investigated along with her crooked attorney who actually admitted that the testimony was to stop the nomination because she feared Kavanaugh would overturn Roe v. Wade.

As long as every last person involved in pushing the 7+ investigations allegedly into how the Benghazi attack unfolded but were merely used to smear Hillary with sloppy handling of an email server, pushed by persons who do not care at all about worse offenses under Trump, goes on. Then we have a deal.

Otherwise, it's just the usual Trumpist pride in hypocrisy.

PS: I know what the reply is going to be before I see it, and I know any person(s) making it will themselves have done worse.

How would Kaverynaughty overturn Roe v Wade? He said it's there to stay.

I suspect MS Keyser is more concerned about selling books than setting the record straight or any truth telling.

Its part of the new Liberal agenda. If you can't win the election. Impeach.
Idiots.

Apparently, Blassey-Ford doesn't share your opinion.

Christine Blasey Ford's Attorney Reveals the Accuser's Testimony Was Politically Motivated

Ford’s attorney, Debra Katz, was speaking at the University of Baltimore’s Feminist Legal Theory Conference when she said her client made the decision to make her decades-old accusations about Kavanaugh in part because she was concerned about his stance on abortion.

A report in Newsweek explains that Katz told a crowd at the event, “In the aftermath of these hearings, I believe that Christine’s testimony brought about more good than the harm misogynist Republicans caused by allowing Kavanaugh on the court. We were going to have a conservative [justice] … Elections have consequences, but he will always have an asterisk next to his name.”

She went on, “When he takes a scalpel to Roe v. Wade, we will know who he is, we know his character, and we know what motivates him, and that is important. It is important that we know, and that is part of what motivated Christine.”

Agree with your sentiment but that's not a liberal agenda. It's a far left authoritarian agenda.

Careful Mr. I was beaten up quite a bit about "whataboutism".

The more interesting part of the story to me is this:
Keyser was being pressured by Ford’s allies from high school to do more to help their friend — and things were getting dirty, according to the book.

In a group text, one woman wrote of Keyser, “Maybe one of you guys who are friends with her can have a heart to heart. I don’t care, frankly, how f–ked up her life is. A lot of us have f–ked up lives in one way or another.’’

Another texter, apparently referring to what the book called Keyser’s “addictive tendencies,’’ said, “Perhaps it makes sense to let everyone in the public know what her condition is. Just a thought"

The authors say Keyser told them, “I was told behind the scenes that certain things could be spread about me if I didn’t comply"

I suspect MS Keyser is more concerned about selling books than setting the record straight or any truth telling.

It's not her book. :doh

"Buried at the end of their new book “The Education of Brett Kavanaugh: An Investigation,” reporters Robin Pogebrin and Kate Kelly quietly admit that Christine Blasey Ford’s lifelong friend Leland Keyser did not believe her friend’s tale of a sexual assault at a party they both supposedly attended. Keyser was named by Ford as a witness, one of four who denied any knowledge of the event in question."

That's some pretty hair raising stuff.
"Oh what a tangled web we weave...."

A whattaboutism is designed to change the subject.

A rejoinder that casts doubt on the OP's credibility because of hypocrisy is not.

As with everything, accusations of "whattaboutism" are overused as clever debate board moves. I did not change the subject. I simply said: sure, if it's crap investigate it....but let's investigate the other crap too then, huh? I don't actually want anyone to have a long discussion about Benghazi.

I wasn't even on this forum when there were discussions on Benghazi. So how does your post prove that I am a hypocrite?
I won't ask you to balance my checkbook... you can't add 1 plus 1.

Take your thread-jacking derail and see if you can go sell it somewhere else.

That explanation didn't work for me. Good luck. :)

Oh dear, do you think so highly of yourself that you believed I gave a **** whether you pronounced my post "accepted"?

Seriously.... why do so many internet posters think announcing that they've dismissed something matters to the person they say it to?

A single person cannot create an original post and then within original post whattabout themselves. Saying otherwise is stupid beyond belief.

Benghazi? :beatdeadhorse

Report me instead of playing mod then.

Irony...
Don't tell me what to do.

No, really, if you are concerned about whether pointing out to someone that the creator of an OP cannot whattabout themselves in their own OP is thread-jacking, report it.

Not that this is thread-jacking:
